Conveniently located just one mile from Camp Michawana, 10 minutes from Hastings, and 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. Just a few miles off the 131 highway and 30 minutes from Gerald R. Ford International Airport, our location offers tranquility and comfort a short drive from Grand Rapids, Holland (Lake Michigan), and Kalamazoo. This self-contained apartment has its own entrance next to a terraced garden. Enjoy country vistas and watch for deer, turkey, hawks, and songbirds. In season, shop “The Fridge” farm stand, stocked with eggs, scones, honey, and fresh produce. Order ahead: we’ll save scones for you!

Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite , self contained space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.

The Birds Nest is an above-the-garage studio apartment with a view of the valley and our working farm. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.

Bedrooms have full beds, livingroom has a pull-out couch and a pull-out loveseat. The compact bathroom has a stand-up shower, kitchen is equipped with essentials and a Keurig. The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.
