“Great friendly hosts, nice room, for the price I wasn't expecting much but just needed somewhere to sleep, however, very pleasantly surprised by the room, spacious, clean, en suite and another room/space with TV and loads of DVDs. Superb value for money.”
I live in a cosy townhouse in the heart of Ulverston. The town is bustling with twice-weekly markets, regular festivals, carnivals and events, and a wonderful nightlife, whilst being perfectly located on the edge of The Lake District. 30 minutes drive from Junction 36 of the M6, or 5 minutes walk from Ulverston station, which is an easy transfer from the West Coast Main Line. The room has a modern double bed, a basic wardrobe with hanging and shelf storage, a bedside table and reading lamp.
“Thanks Stephen for a really enjoyable relaxed stay, much appreciated, having access to the space at yours allowed us to have the perfect xmas visiting family. The bed and room was really comfortable. Everything was super clean and being in a peaceful but central part of ulverston was just right. Anna and Justin.”
Spacious and cosy home overlooking the channel in a nice area. Easy walking distance to BAE and some lovely beaches. Bus stop outside for accessing the town. On street parking available on the promenade at the front and more parking at the back. Some steps to access the property. We may be able to accommodate guests who wish to arrive earlier or later than the checkout times stated with prior agreement. Let us know what you need, we will do our best to be flexible :)
“Cheryl was very welcoming and explained where everything was. The room was big and had everything that I needed. The house has a lot of character and has a very relaxed atmosphere. Cheryl was very enthusiastic and provided a lot of tips on what to see and do.”
