A great little B&B, would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in these parts. Great views out the front of the house, lovely and quiet and a lovely cooked breakfast to top it off. I will be back again I'm sure.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff who clearly love the area. Big, well kitted out kitchen, everything clean. Highly reccomend for a stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Bank House Farm... treading in the steps of the Swallows and Amazons! The farm house is beautiful, quirky, and historic all at once. We ate in the restaurant where the food is absolutely fabulous, of a very high standard and totally delicious. The meat is reared just there on the farm and it was fantastic to know its local origin. Nothing was too much trouble - when the restaurant was closed, Ross the Chef left us generous sharing platters for our evening meal, and we went off every day with an equally generous packed lunch! We will definitely be back again! Hopefully better weather next time though!

Jonathan was a great host with a really wonderful place to stay in.

We came up to explore the Lake District and this was a perfect cosy stunning place. Very easy to find the place with clear instructions from Jonathon. We were in awe of the views as soon as we drove down the road to the location. Very helpful and kind staff who showed us around the place and to our room and in the morning gave us excellent service for breakfast. Very clean room with our own on suit bathroom and full of refreshments and a mini tv for evening entertainment. Lots of facilities so you will not be bored. We will definitely be back in the future and stay for longer.

We loved our stay at the Bank Ground farm. Jonathon and the staff were extremely hospitable and friendly, and the food was delicious! We can't wait to go back again!

I was looking for somewhere quiet to stay as I was spending the weekend racing in the Lakes. I had a clean, comfortable room and access to a good kitchen, plus lovely views over the fields from the bedroom window. It was exactly what I needed and I would definitely stay again.

Jean’s place was exactly what we wanted. Clean, tidy, and in a prime location to see what nature has to offer. A beautiful place surrounded by more beauty. Jean was extremely friendly and accommodating toward my wife and I and we’ll definitely choose to stay there again when we’re back that way. Thanks for an enjoyable stay Jean.
