There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Stonestar South Lakes & Ulverston - fully equipped
Welcome to our South Lakeland cottage. Surrounded by countryside, Ulverston is famous for being the start of the Cumbria Way, the birthplace of Stan Laurel and year-round festivals. The limestone and sandstone cottage is situated at the gateway to the Lake District National Park and is ideal as a base for walking, climbing the fells and visiting the lakes. Return and light the open fire in the living room and enjoy a home cooked meal or visit the many popular restaurants and pubs nearby.

A lovely little accommodation, comfortable and cosy with a country cottage garden and a beautiful view of the fell beyond. It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.
