Gorgeous property in a great location, easily walkable from the train station, city centre and bus stops onto the university of Lancaster. Responsive and helpful host. comfortable beds and great facilities. Perfect for a stay with friends or a family.

Great location in the middle of Ulverston. Kitchen had everything we needed and when we needed to we pressed 'boost' on the heating controls and the house heated quickly. very cozy, homely house. Would recommend and stay again

Fantastic stay in lovely cosy property. Stayed for 5 nights and hosted Christmas dinner for partner’s parents and sister. Everybody loved the property and its layout. Has a cosy lounge with wood burner and kitchen and bathroom are great sizes. Downstairs loo was a plus too! Great view, although was misty/wet weather when stayed so no walking achieved!

Lovely house in a great location near Lake Windermere. We visited with younger children and there was lots to keep them entertained. Although local play parks and the town of Windermere were not in walking distance to the house, this did not make any difference to our holiday as we would have driven with the children anyway. Brockhole park and estate being a great local spot for the family. The access to the local health spa was a great addition to the house.

This was our 2nd stay at this lovely house. The location is nice & quiet & perfect for walking in the surrounding area & for the village pubs, shops etc. The house is very clean, comfortable & warm & is well kitted out with everything you need. The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

Ben’s place was nice and well equipped for our stay. Location is good just a few minutes from pubs and restaurants in the town. Ben also communicated well, would stay again.

Really cosy little cottage in a lovely little village with plenty going on. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and lots of activities in the surrounding area to keep you busy! Nancy is a great host who was able to provide lots of advice on things to do and her guidebook was great for booking meals out! Will definitely be back

Jeanette’s place was perfect! It was so cosy, warm, clean, and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous and a great place to spend time when the sun is shining. We felt right at home. Jeanette was super helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

We absolutely loved our stay at Siobhan’s apartment! Cosy, comfortable and stylish, we felt right at home soon as we arrived. The apartment is in a fantastic location in-between Windermere and Bowness, both are within walking distance which is a real bonus! Check in was a breeze and the welcome gifts were very thoughtful. Great stay, check in was very easy, parking was okay, and the apartment was very cosy. It was quite cold when we arrived, but the heating was really easy to use and the place warmed up in no time! The location is very handy close to the village enter, lots of shops and restaurants. During our stay we visited the Lake Road Kitchen for the eight course taster menu, which was amazing and literally just up the road. If we decide to come back to Ambleside we will be sure to book this apartment again. Thank you

This is the second time I have stayed at the studio. It is a lovely little place, compact but with everything you need in a very beautiful and convenient spot. Carol and Margaret are very helpful and friendly it is always a pleasure to stay in their beautiful flat. Thank you for being so welcoming and accomodating.

Sharon's place is fab really good location with easy parking. if you want to explore Wasdale then it is perfect location. The flat is well set up, warm and with fab views of the fells. The lake beaches are 5 mins away by car or a bit longer by foot. The wildlife is super loads of birds. Wasdale head is a bit further and easy access to Scarfell, Great Gable and styhead pass over to Borrowdale. There is a small shop with essentials and some walking gear at Wasdale head, plus a pub with good local Ale. I can also recommend the Alpaca trekking at Wasdale Alpacas. We have loads still to explore in Wasdale so will hopefully return.

The farmhouse was beautiful, with a gorgeous setting and the hot tub was very relaxing. Will deffinately stay again.

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Jerry was super responsive and responded within minutes whenever we needed something, which was really appreciated (even around midnight 😅). The house is beautiful, very well furnished. Hot tub was a favourite and the river is incredibly scenic.

We booked on the day we wanted to arrive. Dispite a last minute booking our hosts were friendly and sent all the information we needed quickly. It is a beautiful, relaxing and well equipped home. Sitting out on an evening was lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Lovely relaxing home surrounded by trees, even saw a fox one night.
