Holiday rentals with a patio in Bay Islands Department

Advantages: - Laura provided us with complimentary beer and wine upon arrival - 3 minute walk to the Main Street with a small supermarket, restaurants, and shops - 10 minute walk to a Half Moon Bay - Guard on duty at entrance of street giving a sense of security - Sort, comfy beds - Large pool directly across the street from the place - A/C units in both bedrooms and main room - Laundry facilities provided - Beach towels provided - Extra linen and towels provided - Easy parking if renting a car Things to know: - Top bunk does not have a rail making it feel unsafe for smaller kids - No iron/ironing board - No shampoo/conditioner to get you started - Located on top floor so you will need to climb 20 steep stairs to the place.

Wanda was a very attentive host. Everything in the condo was as expected. It was great not having to worry about RECO electricity as it’s included, so it wasn’t a problem using the AC. The pools are a real bonus too. Thanks Wanda!

Spectacular and serene! True to the photos the porch looks through palm trees to the beach, over calm waters to the reef and beyond that the Caribbean. Really beautiful!! Our stay was easy and comfortable with the well-equipped kitchen, walk-in shower and great mattress in airconditioned bedroom. Shanna arranged our trip from airport with a stop at Eldon’s market. It is just a short walk to main road to hail taxi (really easy) or to walk to nearby minimart. We walked the beach to the town of Sandy Bay. We snorkeled from the dock out front to nearby heads and even out to the reef itself, carefully respecting the boat traffic which goes between the white posts. In West End we recommend Roatan Adventure Scooters for snorkeling trips and the Cannibal Cafe for divine lionfish tacos.

I came to Utila to dive and little did I known that most divecentres on this island offers free accommodation with their diving packages. So keep this in mind if your primary reason is diving. I was too late to cancel and get a refund. Never the less I am satisfied with my stay and location was perfect for my needs. Literally across my diving center and there's a mini supermarket next door. The walk to Ferry port is literally 5min which was really easy to do. Keep in mind that on Utila you share the road with scooters, ATV's and golfcarts as there isn't a sidewalk. Plenty of places to eat that fits all budgets and with the supermarket next door I was able to prepare my (cooked) late lunches after diving the whole day. Basic kitchen appliances yet sufficient to prepare your meals. The host(s) provided 1/3 filled bottle water dispenser to use, since you can't drink the tapwater. Which was appreciated. WiFi was fast & steady. Never met the host(s) nor was it necessary

This place offers stunning views and is just a short walk to the beach. There's a convenient shortcut with stairs that my 4 and 6-year-old kids had no trouble climbing each day. I absolutely loved the outdoor kitchen and lap pool! I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Roatan.

Where to start— with being picked up at the airport taken to one of the 2 grocery stores on the island- while our host Terese waited for us, to a love,y warm we,come to their home. It was clean, comfortable and even had hot water for those who need it. They are a wealth of information about the island; being island born, and proud of it! And only about 300 feet to both beaches at West End. We were even loaned a hammock and beach chair! Our laundry was done. One day we commented on how good something smelled coming from her house above us. Next we know, a huge bowl of arroz con pollo (chicken rice) was delivered, and it tasted as good as it smelled. On departure day, it was poring so Henry drove us to our next accomodation for nothing. We cannot say enough about these kind, generous and hospital family.

Heather was a great host! I loved living in my little tree house for two weeks. Make sure you go to Blue Bahia and visit Jonny at the bar!

Great hosts who go out of their way to help to make your stay special. Even if you have a problem they will try in any way to help. Great place, outstanding value and terrific hosts who really do care about you!

Chandra’s place was comfortable, provided drinkable water and the kitchen had plenty utensils. The couches were big and comfy too. Getting there was a bit difficult, locals didn’t know where splash inn or the pizzeria was. We had to leave the car parked somewhere and walked until we found it. I wouldn’t recommend getting there by foot especially if you’re carrying your bag. Without bags is manageable if you’re using the shortcut on the back of the house which can only be used by foot. Overall not a bad place or experience.

Vanesa and Henrry are the best hosts I've had, they make your trip more interesting and economical, they give you a lot of information about the area. In terms of their facilities are impeccable and super comfortable. Feel free to visit them 👌🫶🏻

We stayed in Casa del Dolfin for the entire month of February 2025. Combined with the studio, the house is spacious and acommodated our guests nicely. We had 10 guests at the peak. The most amazing thing about this place is the views. We marked time by the arrival of cruise ships at dawn and their departure at sunset. We spent entire days basking in the sun and enjoying the pool. One magical morning, we were visited by a pair of Guacamayas. We enjoyed the company of two friendly cats, Mamacita and Mimi. The quiet Turtle Beach area was ideal for our family and friends, as we celebrated a wedding at Ibigari mid-month. From Casa del Dolfin, is a 15 min. walk down the hill to the Clearwater Dock, where you can catch a water taxi to either West End or West Bay for $5 per person. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful water around the island paradise of Roatan. Communication with Renee was excellent. Thank you for a once-in-lifetime vacation.

Barb and Jay’s place was absolutely perfect for us! It’s an adorable set up that makes you want to stay forever. They both were so kind, helpful and very responsive. They had a taxi pick us up from the airport and take us to the property where they had a bottle of wine waiting for us. It’s super close to the main strip of West End, we walked everywhere. Overall great stay, great people, would recommend!

We had a great time at Tres Hermanas. It is so close to everything you'd want/need. It's a 2 minute walk to one of the best spots to snorkel in West Bay (just past the pier when you walk onto the beach). The place was clean and looks like the pictures. There are beach chairs and loungers that you can use at the beach, and there is private security for the area 24/7. It feels safe and well taken care of. They rake the sand and we didn't get any no-see-um bites even at sunset.

very good local, private beach, I really liked the stay, nice place to come with family and friends, 100% recommended, access a little ugly, small cart suffers when arriving in that stretch, but it is small

The very nice and comfortable house has everything you need, it is actually better than what you see in the photos, the perfect pool with the deck and ranchito with tables and super useful bar and there are two refrigerators outside for drinks and another sink, there are everything you need to spend a very pleasant vacation with the family . It has a bathroom outside on a very full pool deck! He dive center right there at the club inside the condominium and the beautiful private beaches. Excellent house, thank you for everything !!

I’ve been to Roatan many times but this was my first time staying at Jessica’s place. It was fantastic! Lovely and secluded, but a very short walk from the shops, restaurants, beach, and dive shops of the West End. The place is bright and airy, very new, and well equipped. The beds are fantastic. The view is stunning! We truly hope to come back and would stay in this home again in a heartbeat. Great value!

We spent 17 days in this condo and loved it! Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, good hot water, lovely balcony, beautiful pool, and lots of friendly help from Vanessa and Frank. Great restaurants nearby, The Lounge, Creole’s, Sundowner’s, and Ginger’s were our favorites. We stopped at Eldon’s when we arrived and took the van/bus/public transport one other time. Other groceries we got at the little markets/convenience stores along West End. We went to the Mayan Princess twice, great pools! Vanessa did such a good job setting everything up for us. One of the best set up and well run condos we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs!

This condo was absolutely perfect for my family of 5. 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, big kitchen and beautiful views from the balcony. Pool (shared) was nice and always clean. 24hr security made us feel safe as there’s not much around the building. The unit is a bit far from the (touristy) busy part of roatan but that was fine for us as we had a car and it took about 30mins to get to west bay. We often stopped in town on the way back to the condo for the local street food that was fantastic and very affordable. Will definitely book Nicole’s place again if available.

This condo lived up to our high expectations, having admired it from the beach on previous visits. Comfortable inside and out, with supplies for everything from coffee to sunscreen. The patio furniture was comfortable for shade and cocktails, while there were plenty of loungers for time on the sand. The staff (Gustavo: manager, and Jerry in security) were friendly, efficient, and supported us in every way. The WiFi in the area was inconsistent for a day or two, and Gustavo was quick and persistent in contacting the company until everything was functional again. Colleen was incredibly responsive to any questions or requests that came up, and always followed up to be sure any issue was resolved to our satisfaction. It is very clear she lives up to the title of “Super Host”. We also loved that this stretch of beach was hardly impacted by crowds even when there were several large cruise ships in port. Location is convenient to the best snorkeling, the boat dock, and favorite restaurants.

The house was exactly as described and the check in process was very smooth. Beautifully accommodated our family for the 2 weeks we stayed here. The location was perfect, walking distance to some great beaches and restaurants and for everything else there was the water taxi! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

This apartment truly exceeded our expectations, providing a lovely and comfortable environment equipped with all the essentials for our stay. We felt secure and at home throughout our time here. Its convenient location made it easy to access various amenities, including grocery stores, taxi services, restaurants, dive shops, beaches, and shopping options.
