This place is a gem! Nestled among the redwoods, it truly feels like you are in a treehouse. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and conveniently located. Tera and Christian were welcoming, quick to respond, and offered great hike options for us to explore.

I came to visit my son and enjoy the surrounding redwoods, but ended up having to stay indoors a lot more than planned, and I was very, very comfortable in Sara's place. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you need; I loved the firm mattress; and, being an avid reader, I loved the comfy chair in the bedroom and the bright lighting throughout. It's situated in a very quiet neighborhood, and a lovely Café is just a stone's throw down the hill. Sara's personalized Welcome sign made me feel right at home, and she was always very quick to respond when I reached out. I just really liked the place and enjoyed my stay very much!

Julia's studio was a true sanctuary in Arcata. I am so grateful to have landed there. The space is beautiful and well designed to provide cozy yet spacious comfort. I appreciated the attention to detail to make it so. The kitchen is fabulous for cooking meals with the great produce from the nearby co-op market. The rain shower is fabulous. The garden setting is tranquil and lovely. The plants were just beginning to bloom while I was there. I had to work during much of my visit and enjoyed sitting outside, listening to the birds and breeze through bamboo while online. The location is awesome. There are gorgeous trails to hike in walking distance and the magnificent moonstone beach is a short drive - Thank you for that suggestion Julia! Julia was responsive to my questions and accommodated my arrival needs graciously. I highly recommend this sweet abode for solo travelers and couples. I hope to be back in the near future.

We absolutely loved our stay! So peaceful and restful. Loved the simplicity & tastefulness of the decorations, the comfortable beds, and the fragrance free environment. It was a great location for driving to explore different beaches and redwood forests. The cafe down the road is definitely worth the visit!! Overall a wonderful experience and would stay here again.
