The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS SUITED TO GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
