Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Recently renovated by experienced hosts, it has a 4 star holiday rental property rating. Each of its three double bedrooms has a shower room/WC, and air conditioning. Its large shaded dining terrace, boulodrome and parking area with ev charging make it the perfect holiday haven.

Climatisé avec lit « queens » size 160*200. Pas de vis-à-vis avec notre maison et une seule location sur notre propriété. En été : de Mai à fin Septembre piscine 8*4, au sel / chauffée, entourée de fleur avec un salon de jardin agréable. La piscine est éclairée le soir; Les torchons sont fournis .Cafetière= Dolce Gusto

Le gîte, situé à l’arrière de notre Mas , est à 5 minutes du centre ancien d’Arles en voiture, mais déjà à la campagne . Sur place vous pouvez profiter du Parc avec chêne, pins parasols ainsi que de la piscine se trouvant devant notre maison. Vous pouvez aussi vous reposer à l’ombre de la terrasse couverte devant le gite ou au coin du feu dans le salon cheminée. Départ de balades en voiture, accéder rapidement aux Alpilles, les Baux, direction Marseille, les plages des Salins...
