A beautiful accommodation in a very nice place. You have beautiful views over the countryside and it is lovely and quiet. The cottage has everything you need for a few nice days. Upon arrival, a delicious sugar bread awaits you and a few drinks in the fridge. And there is a carport so that your car also has a roof over its head. I'll be back for sure.

Welcoming cozy B&B in a special location. Wonderfully quiet, nice host and hostess, great breakfast, I felt at home.

we enjoyed our stay and the holiday home is tip top in order and provided with everything you need and in addition everything is sparkling clean and beautifully located on a lake. Hella is a very friendly hostess and helpful, in the area beautiful forests for hiking and plenty of fantastic cycling routes. In short, good to stay there. Mieke and Wim.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage with lovely garden. We had been outside a lot and the hammock could go outside. Plenty to do in the area both in the direction of Drenthe and in Friesland.

"Daalders slekje" is a great place to stay that is equipped with all the comforts. The house is beautiful and full of character. The associated mancave is a kind of private pub on the house, where it is good to stay. We enjoyed ourselves excellently. Tobi, the dog, thought it was fantastic. We ourselves enjoyed the jacuzzi, the surroundings, the atmosphere that the house breathes and your own little "retreat" in the form of the mancave where I could watch nice football:) Gelly is a warm and caring host who will help you to enjoy your time to the fullest. She leaves you completely free to enjoy your time, but is always available for any questions or assistance. In short, nothing but praise for our stay here.

Our stay at Tommy and Barbara's home was exactly what we needed! We wanted to take some time out of the city and this was the perfect place for it. We really loved the sauna and pool (even in mid April, the pool was a perfect cold plunge after the sauna) and proximity to nature and trails. From the house - you can walk through the woods into the village and the yard created a beautiful little oasis. We would absolutely recommend this home and hope to stay again in the future!

Overall a very nice tent. Everything was there. Clean bathroom. Unfortunately it is quite noisy on the grounds, on a Sunday the neighbor worked with the circular saw for 3 hours. And you can hear the surrounding streets very clearly.

We had a very comfortable short stay at Sjoerdje's place. The apartment was clean and cosy with all necessities. Communication with Sjoerdje was smooth at all times. Highly recommended!

We were ready for some peace and quiet and this is the right place to find just that. Set back from the road you are surrounded by nature and can watch the sunrise from the bed (large and comfortable). The huge bathroom offers a bathtub and large shower and his and hers basins. The kitchen equipment covers all self-catering needs and you can choose between a Senseo coffee machine or a traditional filter machine. The towns of Dokkum and Leeurwarde are both within a short drive and have lovely little shops, a nice change from chainstore high streets. Take some time to visit the ceramic museum in Leeurwarde, a fantastic collection and excellent infos in English and German. Tjeerd is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. His three pet turkeys - so pretty - and large family of ducks are very tame and come to meet you as soon as they hear you approach.
