Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bembridge

From the booking to leaving, the process was so easy. The house was amazing, perfect for our family stay away for a wedding and it felt like home from home. The welcome pack was very well received and a very welcome visit from Mark to check everything was OK for us. It's these personal touches which makes Mark an outstanding host. If ever we need to stay somewhere in the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking this accommodation again

Amazing weather for April so we made use of the patio/garden, walked from the house, explored area, loved the peaceful location, enjoyed hearing the local cows & seeing the horses & donkeys. House as described & beautifully kept, home from home feel. Perfect for our needs, totally relaxed & had a great w'end break. Good responses from our host & confidence in their support should we have needed them. Would visit again, thank you!

I'd like to say from start to finish Thi communicated really well, the house was lovely and everyone that stayed with us said the same in that it felt homely and had everything thing that we could ask for, a home away from home. It was right next to the canal in Chichester with very easy access to the main town with plenty of shops tk visit. We wouldn't hesitate in booking Thi's home again. Plus the treats were very welcome, especially for our niece who stayed with us.

Had a wonderful stay at the barn. We had good weather so made the most of the beautiful outdoors. Dogs thought they were in heaven with all the space. I would say if you want to take dog(s) it’s not safe if they wander or don’t have a recall as they can get out to the road. Loved being so close to Petworth. Good pubs within walking distance or short drive. Jessica and Rob were fantastic - Jessica for changing my booking for me ultra fast and Rob for being n hand if you need anything. Couldn’t ask for more. Didn’t want to come home

Perfect weekend away! We were two friends meeting for a chilled weekend to relax and catch up - which we certainly did! Cottage is beautiful - a real gem and a home from home - without the clutter! Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Hils had thought of everything and has also created a very comprehensive folder of things to do, places to eat and visit and a plan for a 'perfect' day! We enjoyed a wonderful time away and for us it was brilliantly located - half way for both so we'll definitely be booking again! Highly Recommend!

We went to visit Peppa Pig World, and couldn't have asked for a better spot. The drive there was 15min, which made all the difference for us. the place was fully equipped for our 3y as well as our 6m old, including high chair, great crib, and gates for the stairwell. It was very quiet and peaceful, and close to a co-op shop where we could get our groceries. would highly recommend for families looking for a well equipped house (+garden) within a reasonable distance from many new forest attractions

Super chilled weekend away. A wonderful, peaceful place to stay, with a little private wooded walk onto the common and a nice pub 30 minute walk away. The annexe is cosy and well equipped for a relaxing break, with the hot tub, log burner and all the little things you might have forgotten - also a super comfy bed for yummy lie-ins! Lesley, Peter (and the animals) are really friendly and welcoming. This is our 2nd visit and we will hopefully stay again. Thank you! x

We had a comfortable stay with our 5 month old. Spacious bathroom and clean throughout. Good instructions for check in and friendly communication. It is a top floor apartment and the stairs are quite shallow, so perhaps not suited to anybody not steady on their feet. Little bit of street noise but this was to be expected in such a fantastically central location on the main high street.

It is great place to stay with your friends or family. The house is located very close to the train station, bus stop and not very far from the beach yet in a quiet neighbourhood.

Anna's flat was perfect for our family reunion. Everything we needed was there. Parking was easy and we had a very relaxing stay.

Jonathon’s place is a very quirky, light, interesting, comfortable, all facilities you need and amazing views of the harbour. The location is excellent for exploring the island and being right next to the chain ferry to Cowes makes a very easy day day out of no driving to explore the shops, restaurants and enjoy the views of the harbour and shipping channel… Jonathon and Rebecca were amazing hosts and always responded quickly if you needed to ask the a question. The early check-in was very much appreciated. We will definitely be back…

We loved staying at Creydi‘s! The guest house in Southsea is 5 minutes away from many shops, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs and the beach. Other locations can be easily reached by bike. The acommodation was extremely homely with a great love for detail. Every question we had was answered immediately. We‘ll come again :-)

Absolutely wonderful place and so convenient for visiting Southampton. Very clean and spacious with lots of amenities and a very responsive and friendly host. Would definitely stay again ☺️

Wonderful place to base yourself near Chichester. It was cosy but felt spacious for our family of 4. The terrace overlooking the fields made for great mealtimes and an area to relax. Plenty of great places to visit nearby. We particularly enjoyed Bosham (Anchor Bleu for lunch was a standout!), Petworth, Arundel and West Witerring for a blowy beach walk! 5 stars!

Very comfortable and high quality accommodation with sea views and close to all amenities. Very warmly welcomed in person with generous welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Everything very well explained from the heating to the cooker and washer/dryer. No fixed parking but we always managed to find a place on the street outside at the end of every days outings. Highly recommended!!

We loved our stay at Tim's place - what a location! So close to the beach, lovely quiet neighbourhood and loads of beach walking and places to eat all close by. It's an excellent location for exploring - Portsmouth and West Wittering as well as the Hayling Island itself. Tim could not have been more responsive and helpful with all of his communication - first class stuff. Couldn't recommend this place enough and we will be back!

The perfect spot for our family get together to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Spacious, thoughtfully appointed rooms, each with an en-suite. Lots of cosy spaces to gather. Amazingly stocked kitchen. We had a fantastic time

We loved our stay at the beach. Such a beautiful location and so different than our sand beaches we have in the US. The rocky beach may not be for everyone but it was perfect for us as we weren't going to be swimming in April anyways. The house itself was wonderful and inviting - nothing bad to say about it.

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

We stayed for three nights over half term. The photos don’t quite do this place justice - I’m not exactly an architectural connoisseur but the place is stunningly designed with bifold doors straight onto the beach and a fire with ‘floating chimney’ visible from 360 degrees in the living area. Jo was an amazing host and showed us around personally, as well as supplying a very nice welcome pack and ample firewood! Whilst being right on the beach, this always felt like a very peaceful location. We enjoyed being able to do a bit of beach combing from the door as well as walk to the nearby nature reserve. Also had a very nice day out at West Wittering which is a relatively short drive. The weather was mixed during our stay (it was February!), but this the place is equally well equipped for a bracing walk followed by time by the log fire and more sunny days. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a short break by the sea.

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.

We spent a fabulous Easter weekend at Driftwood Cottage. Catharine was an excellent host and was extremely easy to deal with. The house is spacious, modern, and very well equipped. The use of the kayaks was a bonus we hadn’t really considered beforehand but turned out to be a real highlight. The location is amazing. Right next to the ferry terminal but you wouldn’t know it when you’re at the house. The views up the creek at stunning. Highly recommended.

The property is brilliant and has everything you could need. The location is ideal and Emma is very responsive to any questions you may have. Absolutely recommend this place to stay and we hope to return next year!
