In summer, you can visit the Cathar castles including Montségur, Foix, Roquefixade, the medieval town of Mirepoix, Lake Montbel, and more.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Gite de Serrelongue facing the Château de Montségur

The Serrelongue cottage is a 55 m2 house, located opposite the Château de Montségur. Enjoy its large terrace, and admire the pog and the citadel of Montségur that stands in front of you. The castle is classified as a "Grand Site de Midi-Pyrénées". The gîte has retained the charm of old houses, but offers all the comforts necessary for your well-being. The cottage is 40 minutes from Foix and Mirepoix. Les Monts d'Olmes ski resort is a 20-minute drive away.

My place is good for couples, friends, and families (with or without kids), and if you like meals in a friendly atmosphere we can offer you the table d'hôte, who knows maybe a surprise will be associated with it, an evening full of tales and stories...!

Gîte de la Hiero

Charming village house nestled at the foot of the Ariège mountains, with a garden bordered by a river. Ideally located for lovers of nature, heritage, hiking, skiing... 15 minutes from Montségur, 30 minutes from the Monts d'Olmes, Foix and Mirepoix, and Lake Montbel. The village has a few local shops to make your stay easier. As in any old village, the church sets the rhythm of the day, but earplugs are available for the more sensitive.

Large home at the feet of the mountains

Our very spacious house ( classified 3* ) is located in a small village at the foot of the mountains, 18 km from the resort of Monts d 'Olmes and 7 minutes from the castle of Montségur. The house is composed, on the ground floor, of a large living room (100 m2) and on the floor of a large bedroom with bathroom + dressing room, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. You can enjoy the small garden and park your vehicles there.

La Forge - absolute calm with views of the Pyrenees

La Forge is an intimate wood-and-stone tiny home designed for a fully immersive nature escape. With panoramic Pyrenean views, it’s a peaceful space to slow down, rest, and reconnect. Inside: a double bed, equipped kitchen, workspace, wifi, and a wood-burning stove. A private dry toilet is attached, with a full bathroom in the nearby shared house. Enjoy the terrace, and optional organic table d’hôte or wellness sessions.

There are many sporting and cultural activities available in the surrounding area, including a greenway just a few metres away. It is also located less than 5 minutes from all amenities.
