Holiday rentals in Bendada

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

The house & location is in a very small village up in the North of Portugal. Perfect getaway for us coming from a busy part of Portugal! We enjoyed our stay at the place, and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. It was clean, super spacious & had a trampoline & small climbing course for my kids!

Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

Seguro que vamos voltar! We had a family gathering, and everyone was thrilled with the house, its excellent condition, the leisure and meals areas. The place is well-furnished and very comfortable. The reception was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We're certain we'll return!

We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful and secluded farmhouse, visiting friends in neighbouring Castelo Branco. Rogério was there to meet us after an 8 hour drive from Southern Spain with a welcoming drink and home made pastries and he spent 45 minutes explaining about the location and its history; he really is super friendly. The house truly is a home from home filled with his treasures, games and even a keyboard. As mentioned in other reviews the dog did bark constantly but Rogerio had already flagged this and offered to move him. we used the house only as a base however and he did not unduly bother us. It was a great stay and we made full use of the wood burning fire which kept the house cosy and warm however it did smoke a bit leaving everything we owned with a memorable dour of woodsmoke. It’s great value and our friends who live in the area visited one evening and fell in love with its rustic charm, they are going to book a couple of nights for themselves in the summer.

Todo espectacular. La casa muy grande, cómoda y bonita. El lugar donde está la casa un sitio tranquilo, no se escucha nada, sólo la lluvia caer (nos cogió todo el tiempo lloviendo jajaja). Está estupendo para el que quiera un tiempo de relax. Tiene pueblos muy cercas y bonitos que puedes visitar. Y como último apunte, si os gustan las pizzas hay una pizzería a 5 km, en Sao Joao de Areias, que las pizzas están brutal, las pareja que lo llevan son fenomenales y rápidos, no dudéis en ir. Está al lado de una gasolinera, dentro de una carpa.

Sítio extremamente calmo, com total privacidade e todo o conforto necessário para um fim de semana tranquilo e relaxante. A casa está equipada com todas as comodidades e o terraço, com jacuzzi à temperatura ideal, proporciona uma vista de cortar a respiração. O proprietário foi sempre muito acessível e atencioso, dando sugestões úteis sobre locais a visitar e onde comer nas redondezas. O acesso é fácil e existe um supermercado próximo que disponibiliza serviço de entrega ao domicílio, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais prática e confortável. Uma experiência que recomendamos!

Wir hatten einen kurzen, aber super schönen Aufenthalt! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen an dem kleinen Bach und erinnert an eine träumerische Hütte in den malerischen Bergen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr Freundlich und hat uns übers Telefon zur Unterkunft geführt, da wir leichte Schwierigkeiten mit dem Auto und den Wetterverhältnissen hatten! Alles lief super und wir würden sofort wieder kommen! :)
