Shopping facilities are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path runs directly past the property. The outdoor swimming pool is about 300 metres away. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues, Downhill with a lift and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20–30 minutes and also by public transport.

The house is situated in a quiet side street. Butcher with bratwurst stand, soft ice cream machine, kebab, corner store, library, bank machine, restaurant and church are just around the corner. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. It starts on the Rennsteig cycle path at Oberhof and ends in Einhausen on the Werratal cycle path. Bicycles can be borrowed from us free of charge. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. Hiking and skiing areas on the ridge of the Thuringian Forest are within easy reach.

The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar or Coburg are also worth a visit and are easily accessible.

Castle Johanniterburg Kühndorf - White House

In our flat in the White House we offer 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a large living-dining room. In the rooms there are 2 beds each, in the Künstlerzimmer 1 possibility of extra bed, in the Magnatenzimmer further 2. In the house is otherwise only a small village museum. The apartment is spacious and cozy, the rooms are furnished with antiques, but have new beds. All floors are wooden. The apartment is ideal for family and friend meetings.
