Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bergen County

Katie’s Lodi home was perfect for us. We were a group of four adults. The only drawback was the second flight of stairs to the two bedrooms. The stairs are very narrow. Otherwise, the place is easy to find and is surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants, and health clubs. Most things are walkable!!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. Joseph and family were very welcoming. It was easy to find And Easy to park in the gated driveway. Definitely an extra perk to have your car parked there behind the gate. The courtyard is very nice with a glass table and chairs to enjoy. The Dog on the property was sleepy and nice! The basketball hoop and basketball for my son was great! The house was extremely clean! Very nice linens, lots of extra towels. The place definitely had everything we needed! Joseph was very patient and easy to communicate with, as we were super confused about the bus schedule and how to buy tickets, but he took lots of time to explain everything to us! The location is really great to get into New York City. The bus comes right outside the front of the house and it takes about 20 minutes to get to Times Square! There’s a little shop you can see from the front of the house that you can get necessities and there is a great little Colombian restaurant near by so delicious!

Heerlijk huis, rustige buurt. Alles voldeed aan de beschrijving, alles was schoon. Alleen jammer dat de bbq buiten niet bruikbaar was maar verder niets op aan te merken. Heel fijn verblijf gehad!

Venky was a great host and proactive in checking in on any needs and questions. Space was roomy enough for me and my 5 friends and functional for self catering. Laundry facilities handy. Really good location - bus to NYC is 10 mins and bus stop right out front as advertised. Exactly what we were looking for. As advertised.

I was overly pleased with this house. They provide small things that you may have forgotten. Like shampoo and toothbrushes. Each bedroom has an extra heater, fan, extra blankets, and a little beverage refrigerator. The top floor space is like a cute little apartment.They really tried to think of anything you may or may not need. So it was easy to be comfortable there.Perfect place for medium to extra large size families. Enjoyed sitting on porch. A beautiful cherry blossom tree lives in the front yard. Great neighborhood vibes. Close to NYC. 30 minutes from Central Park. If you have a vehicle, free parking in the driveway is super convenient. The hosts are sweet. You are not bothered by the apartment below. We would definitely book again.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L'appartement se trouve dans une jolie maison, dans un quartier calme, à 3 minutes de l'arrêt de bus qui nous a conduit à Manhattan en 30 minutes. Les bus sont nombreux et nous n'avons jamais attendu. Le logement correspond entièrement à la description L'hôte est très réactif et aimable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

This was such a nice space and Lisa was a nice and accommodating host. This place is full character and wonder. Very artistic color energy in this place. We started my daughter’s 18th birthday celebration here with what is her last sleepover with friends. The hot tub, steam room and sauna were the first things and last things used. They enjoyed it so much! Thanks for your hospitality Lisa. If we ever need something like this again. We will be sure to look you up! Blessings

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Gloria. L'appartement est confortable et spacieux, proche des bus pour se rendre facilement et plutôt rapidement jusqu'à Times Square ( 20 a 30 mn ). Gloria est très attentive, arrangeante et réactive : communication formidable !! Le Latinos Supermarket en face de l'immeuble est bien pratique. Merci Gloria ☺️

Good, well equipped, spacious apartment in generally quiet neighbourhood close to amenities. Soundproofing between this and upstairs apartment not great so some disturbance - bring earplugs if a light sleeper! Easy public transport access to Manhattan, crowded at peak times, but don’t bank on Ubers - they don’t want to pay the return toll which isn’t included in outward fare. Overall a great place to stay to see New York, Tim and Alina communicated very well.

Großartig!! Wir kamen mit dem Auto an, J. stellte uns ohne Probleme, obschon nicht gebucht, einen Platz in der Garage zur Verfügung. Großartige Ausstattung der Whg. auch für Familien mit Kindern. Innen: Stilvolle Einrichtung, Komfort; draußen: Bus-, Zug- & Fährverbindungen nach Manhatten und zum Liberty State Park in der Nähe! Im Viertel sympatische Präsenz lateinamerikanischer Nachbarn mit Restaurants, Cafes, Supermärkten und Werkstätten. Auch Schulen und Kindergärten in der Nähe, so ist die Umgebung sehr sicher, freundlich und auch nicht so trubelig wie in NYCity. Unsere 14-Jährigen Kids fanden es auch supertoll! Die Wohnung ist wie im Inserat beschrieben und wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und es war über Toilettenpapier, Zewa, Kaffee, Salz und Pfeffer das Wichtigste bereits da. Die Kommunikation mit Mignon hat auch super geklappt. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Straße, aber nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt sind viele Shops, auch Lebenmittelläden. Um nach Manhattan zu kommen, konnte man verschiedene Buslinien nehmen, das hat super geklappt. Ich empfehle hier die Linie 159X, da der Bus ein Stück am Hudson River entlangfährt und man einen tollen Blick auf die Skyline von Manhattan hat. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Cecia etait très aidante et répondait rapidement. C'est facilitant quand on a besoin d'aide pour les stationnements ou autre. Lofement propre, fonctionnel et accueillant. Je n'hésiterais pas à revenir.

Unser Aufenthalt in Jays Appartement war einfach perfekt! Wir waren tagsüber sehr viel unterwegs und haben uns jeden Abend auf „unser Zuhause“ gefreut. Die Schlafzimmer sind groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt viel Stauraum in den Schränken. Das Bad ist klein, aber völlig ausreichend, lediglich der Wasserstrahl der Dusche könnte etwas stärker sein, aber das ist oft auch in Hotels in Manhattan so gewesen. Die Küche ist hell und ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir haben dort ab und zu gefrühstückt und einmal abends gegessen. In der Umgebung kann man gut in den kleinen Supermärkten einkaufen bis abends spät. Gegenüber der Wohnung ist ein Laden für Notfälle, da sollte man aber nicht alles einkaufen, da die Preise höher sind. Ein Frühstück bei Dunkin‘ Donuts geht auch mal klar, ansonsten wird man an der Park Avenue fündig oder an der schönen Straße mit Blick auf die Skyline. Jetzt noch ein paar Worte zu Jay: sie war immer hilfsbereit und hat schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Danke für alles!

Recomiendo 100% este apartamento, creo que es una excelente opción teniendo en cuenta la calidad y la ubicacion. Hay un bus que pasa cada 5 minutos por la esquina y te deja en la estación donde puedes tomar otro bus o metro para moverte facilmente a cualquier punto de NY. Moises siempre ha estado pendiente de cada consulta, ayudandonos con todas nuestras dudas. Apartamento amplio, moderno y con equipamiento de calidad. Volveremos!

Mabel was so helpful with my booking process, and the place was super comfortable and peaceful. Kearny is a really nice area to walk around in and eat at a cafe.

I was at Gil's condo for about a month and here is a breakdown: Gil's communication is outstanding, he called me to welcomed to NY and his condo and told me to reach out to him if I needed anything. Condo was nice and clean and big enough for my wife and me. Condo is in a PRIME location, there are grocery stores, restaurants and other businesses in walking distance. The nearest grocery store was right across the street. I even used the tailor across the street (who are great by the way) to hem a new pair of pants I bought. Time Square is a 20–30-minute drive depending on traffic which is great. The building is old, so you do hear people walking up and down the stairs and the upstairs neighbors do walk with a heavy foot (I'm not sure if it's old floors but you definitely know when they are walking, but it was usually in the morning, late afternoon and evening but it didn't last too long. We did get peaceful nights of sleep every night. I would definitely rent from Gil again.

I stayed here for a month, and Jose was an amazing host—responsive, responsible, and attentive to any needs. As a female solo traveler, I felt very safe staying here. The entire block is quiet and secure, with a laundromat and convenience store right across the street, which was so convenient. Target, along with Starbucks and Taco Bell, is only a 10-minute walk from the house. Having the entire unit to myself, equipped with everything I needed, was such a treat. Whenever there was an issue, Jose was quick to resolve it. Highly recommend this place!

I had a great month-long stay at ReeRee’s quaint apartment. The place was very clean and was in a convenient location from the hospital. I felt safe and had privacy. The room was well organized and furnished and fulfilled all my needs. ReeRee was very responsive to any concerns or questions I had during the entire stay!

Zeer schoon en ruim appartement uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Binnen 3 minuten lopen naar bus 154, 156 en 159 waarmee je binnen 30 minuten in NY bent. Fijn dat we de koffers bij aankomst en vertrekt mochten stallen. Judyfer reageert per omgaande op berichten.

Hem estat comodes, amples, i Ann ha estat una amfitriona molt pendent de nosaltres. Qualsevol dubte que hem tingut l’ha contestat ràpidament. Les meves filles petites contentes amb els cereals que ens ha deixat l’Ann!

This was our first time as a family taking a NYC trip. Staying right in the city was extremely expensive so we considered being on the other side of the river. It worked out well. Olga’s son Hirian helped us as Olga was in FL. Hirian could not have been more friendly and helpful. Apartment is as described and had plenty of room for all of us. The 2 bathrooms really made a difference with 3 kids and all of needing to shower after a long day in the city. Apartment is right on the bus route for the city. Hirian is always available for any questions. Only X factor is parking but there a lot close by. You just need to keep paying on the app. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is a great choice!

My family and I greatly enjoyed this place. The hosts were wonderful and allowed us an early check-in too which was great. I would recommend staying here.
