Jilly and David were fantastic hosts, with great communication and lots of recommendations of places to go, things to do and places to eat. Amazing and helpful when it came to our extra guest of 10months old. Would highly recommend! Beautiful gardens and place! Thank you!

Amelia let us book 4 days instead of 5. The instructions were clear and precise. The house was warm and inviting with a few Xmas decorations which was nice. The house was within walkable distance to the town centre and close to where our family stayed. Amelia let us stay a few extra hours after the initial check out time. Will definitely stay agsin.

Don’t hesitate to book the Bakehouse. We had a very cosy extended stay right in the center if town convenient to everything it offers, with a great back garden location that is quiet and secluded from all street level activity. Jeremy and Astrid were lovely hosts, available and informative. If it’s available - book it. We can’t wait to return.

The host communicated very well and was very well organised, courteous and welcoming. The Stables is a lovely property, beautifully finished and in a great location. On site parking was available which is important to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again when I am in Hertfordshire.
