Exactly as described. clean and bright. Peaceful location and just a few minutes walk to a lovely pub with great food. A few walks close by so you don't need the car. Also lots to visit within a short drive. Highly recommended.

Gardeners Lodge was the perfect place to break our journey from the far North of England to the south of France. It is delightfully designed and comfortably furnished. Everything has been thought of, for a short or longer stay. It was really helpful to be able to charge our car at the cottage.

Lovely little barn, with beautiful views. Vivienne let us book very last minute and yet she still bought all lovely goodies for breakfast. Vivienne is one of the nicest hosts we have met. Our Labrador loved it. There’s a lovely walk to the local pub. Only 20 mins drive from Rye. Will definitely return.

We had an amazing stay, the barn was better than the photos! Dominic was so helpful when we arrived and showed us around the place with helpful info. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Having so many loos and showers was an added bonus. The surroundings were perfect for great walks and hikes and our dogs loved the secure garden. I highly recommend staying here, it would be the perfect place to spend Christmas, which we hope one year to do!
