“This is one of the best places I have stayed in recent times. The location is ideal, amidst the lap of nature, a perfect place for bird watching and experiencing peace. The place is very clean and uncle and aunty are perfect hosts who treated me as one of their own. What makes it a perfect homestay is, it's actually a homestay where you stay as their house guest and not just a tourist. Absolutely adorable dog, Peggy will greet you with a wagging tail ❤️. What's a homestay if there is not a tail or two around? Loved my stay and I wish I had more time to spend :) P.S. Aunty cooks Amazon Kumaoni food which you must not miss during your stay here.”

“My heart is full with such gratitude for finding this beautiful cottage. First a little background, I am a solo traveler from USA who was visiting Nainital and needed a place to stay for a few days. I trusted my instincts and booked this place after reading all the wonderful reviews. I did not meet Hari as he was away but I met his lovely wife Kum Kum who is truly a gentle, kind loving soul. Once I booked, she immediately reached out and offered to send a taxi to get me from the train to her home and when I arrived, she had the most delicious lunch ready for me! Throughout my stay she also went above and beyond in helping make arrangements for a driver to take me around Nainital and she was available to answer any questions I had about the area. Kum Kum’ staff were all very kind, helpful and attentive the entire time I was here. The food served was beyond delicious and also very healthy and all the food was organic. The view from the cottage is truly breathtaking…so serene, and peaceful as it overlooks Bhimatal lake. You can get lost in Zen just sitting outside staring at the lake. The cottage itself was immaculately clean, very spacious, and had everything I needed. If you are looking for a cozy place in Nainital, I cannot recommend this lakeside cottage enough. There is so much love and positive energy here...you feel it the moment you arrive. Kum Kum and her staff will make sure you are well taken care of. They are all extremely kind generous, and beyond hospitable. I am going to miss this place but I plan to stay in touch with Kum Kum and already am planning on coming back. Don’t hesitate…just book, you wont regret it!”

“Anupam is a fantastic host. He has an amazing team of support staff who ensure your stay is comfortable and they attend to all your requirements. I loved the property. It is beautiful and one gets to see the majestic view of the Himalayas. The rooms are clean, well-maintained and the decor is minimal, but very eclectic. The dining hall is also tastefully done and gets a lot of sunlight and is looks equally lovely after sunset when all the lights are on. And how can I not mention about Brownie, the handsome Himalayan dog who lives in the property and is such great company. He is the best thing about the place (I cant help being biased for obvious reasons). Among the many things that I loved about this place, was the small hike to the nearby village accompanied by Nihal bhaiyya (one of the support staff, a really sweet man). They are really simple people. The cafeteria (Chirping Birds), a few miles away, towards main Mukteshwar is also very pretty, done up very tastefully and has a nice European feel to it. The chocolate brownie and the malta juice was super delish! We also met Barfi (a cute small pup who stole our hearts). I wish I had stayed a little longer. I am definitely going to recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet time in the hills and likes exploring offbeat places. Kudos to Anupam, his sweet family and team for doing such a good job! I hope to be back very soon :)”
