Monthly Rentals in Birchall

Pat has given us the warmest welcome we have ever got at an airbnb. He is just a terrific host. The cottage is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We loved the fire in the dining room and living room and enjoyed playing boardgames with the fire on, on a rainy day. Pat's dog, Lily and the neighbour dog, Hunter are both a delight. Connemara is a beautiful part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm people. A week is not enough to see everything. We managed to get to the national park, Clifden, Roundstone and its beaches, Lennaun, the Killary fjord and the famine walk, as well as nearby Loch Corrib and the castle. Some of these destinations are about 1 hour away but you drive through beautiful scenery. Galway is only half an hour away and is a buzzing, vibrant city. All in all, we had a great time and would like to come back.

What a great time we had. I was with a group of 4 long time friends from the United States. I was the only one that had been to Ireland previously and the house was perfect for us. We had enough space that we were not on top of each other. We could walk (although a little further than we preferred) to the downtown area. Kathleen provided recommendations before we arrived. The quaint town had everything we needed with pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. We golfed the local course too. The house was exactly as described. The only issue i had and is the same with so many places in Ireland is that parking was tight and the driveway is tough to get in and out of with traffic but we made it work. Thank you so much for offering your place to help make our trip so great and created lifetime memories.

A truly wonderful stay! After a long day of wind and rain, arriving at this warm and cozy cottage was the perfect comfort. The water pressure in the shower and kitchen was excellent — we enjoyed a relaxing hot shower that felt amazing after being out in the weather. The house itself is beautifully decorated, full of warmth and charm, creating a lovely contrast to the wild natural surroundings outside. We truly appreciated the Anne’s warm welcome and quick responses throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
