Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Breakfast pack for the first day.

Our studio apartment is totally self contained, with wonderful wooden floors and light streaming in from the garden one looks onto. Perfectly situated a few minutes drive between Havelock North and Hastings and decorated with a Colonial African slant. We always leave muesli, fruit, milk, and croissants in the fridge for our guests to enjoy on their FIRST morning, so they can relax and not have to go out for breakfast. Tea and coffee are always provided.

The white sand beach is just a stroll away, ideal for all water activities/fishing, the 9 hole golf course is over the road, with the river close by. It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.
