Monthly Rentals in Blue Anchor

Cara and Marcus met us and personally showed us everything we needed; they were so helpful. We were a group of six families that stayed for a couple of days. We had a great time. The Blue Anchor was spacious and it had more to do than a normal house would have. We had people spread out in different rooms and then we could all come together in the dining area; it was really flexible. We had groups of teenagers with us who enjoyed doing their own thing, either in the games room or out in the hot tub. The adults could sit by the fireplace in the bar and have a few drinks. The bar is not stocked, but we found the food and drink situation fine, as we arranged for a supermarket delivery of food and drink, which for 19 people was very convenient. The kitchen area is very professional and designed for large catering, so it was a lot easier cooking and washing up for large groups. For a day out, I would recommend Dunster Castle and Village. I would recommend the Blue Anchor.

We stayed at the Little Barn for 4 weeks as temporary accomodation from home. The Barn made a stressful time at home seem like more of a holiday. Lisa was always around when needed and stayed in communication the whole time to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy and cozy on the mezzanine. The living room gives a great view and is the perfect spot for sun rise. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The Nook is ideally located within walking distance of the centre of Minehead and amenities in Alcombe, whilst at the same time being secluded and very quiet. This makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. The accommodation is very comfortable and has all you need for your stay. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

We lucked out finding this apartment when looking for a mini-break. The location is excellent, with beautiful views overlooking fields, the sea, and the steam railway line. The accommodation was exactly as described and just as good as the pictures. It was warm, cosy, with a a lovely big bed, sofa, chairs, and a well appointed kitchen. The bathroom was well decorated and had a lovely walk-in shower. Lisa provided some added extras like the bread, butter, jam, milk, orange juice and a couple of lovely surprises, which were very welcome. We’d highly recommend it!!!
