Holiday rentals with a kayak in Bocas del Toro District

Really enjoyed Isla Catenero as we became more familiar with the island and the people we did not want to leave. Remarkable food for such a small island and accessible to other islands in a lot of activities. Steve did a great job at being helpful. Anytime we needed help he responded to us promptly. Helped to get our things to the home and finding us boat taxis to get to where we wanted to be.

We loved staying at Sunanda’s and Vincent’s Airbnb! Sunanda met us at our boat into Bocas and her warmth immediately made us feel at ease. The house itself is stunning, a lovely space to spend time in. It’s open to the outside, so takes a little getting used to, and visitors need to be prepared for the mosquitoes (nets around beds helped but additional measures also needed) and occasional other creatures! We did a couple of excursions through Al Natural (the resort that the Airbnb is connected to) which were well organised, and we saw lots of wildlife (sloths, red frogs, cayman, monkeys and more). We ate at the resort one evening and also enjoyed excellent cocktails most nights at sunset! Sunanda cooks Indian food and we ordered some one evening which was delivered by boat that day and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this Airbnb for a unique and special stay.

The location is incredible with great restaurants walking distance from the house. The view from the porch makes it really hard to leave. The sound of the ocean waves makes this place so incredibly peaceful!

this place is truly unreal! the house itself is stunning, but the rest of the experience is beyond beautiful. Audrey is amazing, and Fernando and the locals who help him are fantastic people. If remote, tropical jungle is your vibe, this is it

The house is lovely but I think it’s worth noting that it’s very remote meaning that it’s literally on the water and you need a water taxi to get to the main island ($25 each way). My advice is to have food and drinks with you as well as toiletries such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc because it’s not provided and since the house is on the water you can’t easily leave. If you are looking for privacy this is definitely the place to be.

I’ve stayed at over 20 airbnbs around the world and the Monkey Bowl was by far my favorite! Such a find. Great location, close to town and the best beaches/surf spots. The house had everything you could ask for - A/C, big kitchen, flat screen and the most comfortable bed. My boyfriend had a blast skating the bowl and I loved using the little out door gym. Most nights we ended up swimming in the pool and using the BBQ area to make dinner. We also rented ATVs and took 5 min rides to restaurants and beaches. Taylor was the best host, answered all our questions, super quick to respond gave us some great recommendations. Couldn’t recommend more!

My family had an amazing stay at Michel's home (2 adults, 2 kids under 10yo). The house is right on the water with beautiful beaches and snorkeling just meters away. The arrival logistics were easy: We were picked up at the airport and driven straight to the office. Did some quick grocery shopping, grabbed a bite to eat, and then got on the boat to Al Natural. The resort area was great for kids since the water is fairly shallow off the beach and protected from big waves. We particularly appreciated: Readily available gear (paddle boards, ping pong, snorkeling gear, etc.). Amazing, large porch for relaxing. Ability to easily book excursions and transport (chocolate farm, scuba, bat caves, etc.). Cooking at the house or signing up for delicious meals at the main resort building. Kind staff that were welcoming to our kids. My only recommendation is bringing enough cash for excursions. We didn't plan it out well enough and were down to our last balboa/dollar at the end.

Amazing stay!!! My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Steve's place and had a wonderful time! The location is perfect to explore the island and central to visit other islands. You can easily do tours from Bocas town (2 min boat ferry) or Steve can provide contacts for private tours. The house was very clean, comfortable and really had just about everything you could need, with a fully stocked kitchen. Lush tropical landscape all around and just steps to the water. We loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend. Steve was one of the most responsive and helpful hosts that we've stayed with, and he helped make our stay one that will long be remembered! And of course, I can't forget how great is was to spend time with Nina Pina, the sweetest dog ever!

I’ve stayed in at least 49 Air Bnbs, and Denis’ place is number 1! It was the perfect place for me and my husband to spend a blissful week. Highlights: Geraldine’s cooking was over-the- top delicious! We loved them all, breakfast, lunch and dinners. The taste and presentation was world class. The cocktails were unique and yummy. We especially loved the peanut punch. Her meals were so nutritious that we left healthier and happier. The food was locally sourced or caught by Denis Denis’ Dolphin Bay tour was great and we loved the snorkeling. We saw a giant sting ray! We enjoyed the variety of birds around the eco lodge. We also took a tour to the Nöbä indigenous cacao plantation. Very interesting and a wonderful lunch. And we also did the dolphin and sloth tour and had great sightings of both. So much to do, and also just a great place to stay and relax. On our last day we kayaked and snorkeled from the eco lodge. Before we left they gave great advice on Panama City.

Good location, away from the hustle and bustle of Bocas. Better than the photos, super clean and very nice. Helena is very responsive, always ready to help and give good ideas for outings. She knows everyone and will also recommend the transportation you might need. Be careful if you have trouble getting around as there are a few steps to climb before accessing the house! The only negative point but it is not the fault of the host however it seems important to me to specify this: unfortunately not quiet at all in the evening and until late at night you hear very loud music coming from a bar or disco nearby. We stayed 3 nights and this was the case for our entire stay. Very unfortunate because it is typically the kind of place where we expect the greatest calm. Too bad.

We had a lovely stay here. Mike was very friendly and and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do. The casita has everything you need and the terace is so beautiful. Easy to get to by taxi boat, the instructions from Mike and Kay were really helpful, but really remote once you are there (which we loved). Also apreciated the snorkeling gear that we got to use. Thank you so much. :)
