Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Here you live peacefully and beautifully with the beach, hiking trails and views right outside the door – at the same time as it only takes 10 minutes to both Bodø city centre and the airport. On clear winter evenings, you can see the northern lights dancing across the sky, and in the summer, you can enjoy the midnight sun. In the distance, you can see the mountains of Lofoten rise on the horizon. Perfect for couples, families with children and hiking guests.

Loft apartment in the centre of Bodø

The loft apartment is centrally located in Bodø. There is a short way to the bus stop (50m) and the tourist information (20m). Shops, cafes and restaurants are also just a few minutes away. This appartement is a nice place to stay when you are visiting Bodø region. The appartment is suitable up to 3 persons to stay. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, and there is also a sofa bed in the living room. It is a great panorama view from the living room. If you take a walk on the property you can also see a lot of nature and at the same time you can see the downtown area of Bodø. If the sky is clear it could be a good possibility to see the aurora borealis in the night from her.

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to supermarket, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light.
