Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We had a very nice weekend among friends here. The house is cozy and very well equipped for cooking together. The rooms and beds were very clean and everything was in very good condition. We will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice time with Anja and Kai. The welcome was very warm and also in between the two were always concerned for our well-being. The house is very quaint as described. You can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. For us, it was good that we had bikes with us. This allows you to be flexible and the area is great to explore.

We had a lovely Easter weekend with 8 people in Norbert and Rabea's cottage! It is located in a quiet area, within half an hour's drive you have various nice places and activities nearby. Tip: Natura Gart in Ibberburen and the CityPark of Emsdetten for a nice picnic with playground for children. The Hockendes Weib is also recommended for a challenging walk. The cottage is cozy, clean and equipped with everything! The extra bath upstairs is a plus as well as the pellet stove that provides pleasant warmth and atmosphere. Thanks so much for the pleasant stay and the kindness!

We stayed on site for 3 nights in March 2025 and it was fantastic. Despite the "main" location (was less busy than some cul-de-sacs) it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the bakery right around the corner and the Dümmer See 10 min. by car. The furnishings are suitable for the house selected traditional and quaint. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

It was the most beautiful and welcoming place I have ever had. I visited Germany on a business trip, and after work, I was able to heal physically and mentally by staying in the accommodation. I am very satisfied with the host being very kind and attentive. I'd love to visit with my family again if I get a chance. Thank you again to the hosts who kindly accepted us.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

It is a nice quiet place in the country. Within walking distance to Lemgo. A short drive to Detmold.

What a wonderful weekend we had, Sina's parents, Erika and Helmut, are very welcoming, helpful and cozy. Reception with "kaffee und Kuchen", every day the cozy tile fireplace was lit for us, homemade liqueur, fresh eggs on arrival.... Accommodation is complete and clean. Hereditary Willi greets you kindly. Lovely garden to relax in. Surroundings are beautiful, varied forests and peat areas nearby, lots of wildlife and birds spotted, beautiful walks made with our dog. Recommended !!

Great area to unwind. The apartment was very stylish and cozy everything was present. Wifi range a little less for our student. Wellness very best sauna ever, pool was refreshing after the sauna. My boyfriend and I had 3 great days at the cabin. The hosts welcomed us kindly and with a homemade chicken soup. The sauna, wood-burning stove and natural pond made for a relaxing stay. The latter is more recommended at warmer temperatures. Otherwise, the hut has a good location, so we could start our hike without a route. We felt comfortable!

We had a really great time here and will probably come back next year. The complete shelf is ideal for families.

The apartment is very nice and lovingly furnished. Everything was super clean. The meditation room was very relaxing. The view to the horse paddock was very nice. The forest is also super close. Stephanie and Joachim are very kind and nice.

The country house apartment was just great! The apartment is very chicly furnished. It's easy to feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace. It was just wonderful to have breakfast there. Gesa and Heiko are very friendly hosts who also proactively ask if everything is great or if something bothers you. When we had an issue, Gesa and helped very quickly and easily, which we liked very much - thank you again! We would check in again without hesitation!

We had a very nice family holiday at the hideaway and it met our expectations one hundred percent. The house is very beautifully located from there, from there you can take many hikes or even start further distant sights by car. The house is very cozily furnished and we felt totally comfortable. The communication with Andreas was great. We would love to come again :-)

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was well maintained, super furnished and clean. Tue communication was also very good.

We stayed in the bakery for five nights with our small child and felt very comfortable. The accommodation is very well equipped and lovingly and tastefully furnished. We were received in a very friendly manner. Bastian and Eva were always available and also spontaneously helped out with small things. At the same time, their support was very unobtrusive and you absolutely have the feeling of being in peace and for yourself in the little cottage.

Great stopover during our travel from Germany to Netherlands. House was very comfortable and easy to check-in. Great coffee machine!

Everything was as pictured, it was clean and everything worked out. Parking was available, the area is very safe. If you stay longer, consider that there is no freezer

The family welcomed us very warmly – we felt welcome from the beginning. The small cottage is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was particularly nice that our child could watch the chickens running freely around the house. The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides, and the property is fenced towards the street, so our son could play carefree in the garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a family atmosphere.
