This place was quiet and close to the lake exactly what our group need for our yearly ice fishing trip Leslie was very responsive and easy to talk to would definitely recommend and make a return trip

Chausey was a great host and was very responsive when I reached out. The place was well kept, very cozy, and matched the list of amenities listed on the AirBNB listing. It truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed the location and how it was tucked away but within driving distance of downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

We could not have picked a better AirBNB to stay at for our honeymoon. The listing and pictures are spot on to what we experienced. The house was clean and very relaxing, and all instructions were very thorough/things were labeled, making it easy to feel at home with no guess work. It was stocked with all the necessities we could have needed. The home is gorgeous, and while it was just two of us I could easily see a bigger crowd being very comfortable. We made sure to make use of the hot tub almost every day and even gave the kayaks a go. Can’t speak for all year round but we went right before the busy season in Maine and the lake was so peaceful and quiet you could hear a pin drop. Jesse and Mya were wonderful hosts; helpful and response both before and during our trip. We’re already talking about coming back for a future anniversary with our kids one day. The place was cute and welcoming! Just what we were looking for as a base camp for our annual fall ATV trip! Corey and his wife were welcoming and treated us like family from the beginning! Would recommend this place to anyone!

We felt very at home. The place is even better than the pictures. Nice walking trails near house. The walk to the dock is a little steep, so walk carefully, especially at night. We are already looking forward to staying with Christopher next year!

This place was a great location, we stayed here for a concert at Bangor Waterfront. We loved the amenities and the fire place. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would recommend!!

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

Such an absolutely magical place to stay! My pup and I stayed for a month while I worked and played. Gorgeous views of the Beech Hill Pond and close enough to various towns for hiking, sightseeing and enjoying local food. Spent time on Deer Isle, MDI at Bar Harbour & Acadia, and even made the trek to Lubec. if you want to experience a wee bit of winter and early spring, mid to late March into April was the perfect time. We had a few inches of snow fall within the first few days of the trip. Don't hesitate to book this cottage!
