We had a great stay at this cabin. The area was beautiful and a perfect location within the national forrest to ride sxs. The back deck was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We can't wait to book our next stay!

loved every bit of it! from the comfy bed to the coffee bar and snacks, to the back porch with the amazing hot tub and fireplace. there is so much to see in that area the knotty pine is where we will stay when we come back!

Wonderful time in the Hideaway Cabin and we will be coming back! Great hikes in the area, the rain our first night was heavy so it made the waterfalls that much more awe-inspiring! The cabin itself and the surrounding area is such a retreat from our daily grind, it was just what we needed on an anniversary trip. Highly recommend! One nice thing is that the owners just let us be, we stay at lots of Airbnb's where we are bombarded with messages, this was the opposite and appreciated! One other note is to bring a car that can handle rough roads, all-wheel or 4-wheel, especially in the spring after the rains. Also a day trip to Eureka Springs was so great, and a fun little drive north west for some shopping and fun-vibes!

It was a perfect relaxing weekend getaway. Everything was as described. Hot tub was amazing. Place was clean with lots of extra supplies.

This home is perfect for families traveling with dogs and those with an appreciation for outdoors. My kiddos loved the hot tub and observing the native wildlife (deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc…). The directions differed slightly from the listing (we never saw the stump) but we were still able to find our way. My mother visited us and was able to navigate the road in her car but we ultimately elected to leave it down the hill/across the creek. If we are ever in the area, we would definitely book again. The host was an excellent communicator.

This was a very nice cabin that was appointed with anything we could have needed. All of the pictures and information about the cabin were spot on, there were no surprises and we were definitely delighted to stay here. The DOG (Betty) was amazing and is now probably 2 pounds heavier since our stay. There is so much to see and do in the area, we went Ziplining at BOC, what an adventure, the guides there were fantastic and even drew us maps to mostly unknown waterfalls. We are really jealous of the people that get to live and work in this beautiful place!

Beautiful place with lots to do very close whether canoeing the Buffalo or hiking.

Nice cabin with great location for accessing the Ozark National Forest. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved this beautiful piece of paradise! It’s so relaxing just sitting on the porch and listening to the sound of the flowing creek. My daughter and I spent a lot of time walking on the rocks as her golden played in the water. We also loved walking up and down the roads. We only turned the TV on once for 5 minutes!! Nature at the cabin is hands down better than anything that could be on TV!!

This was definitely home away from home! The cabin is in a beautiful private area that really made us feel like we were lost in the woods. We enjoyed the bonfire making smores, and star gazing at night. The cabin itself was just perfect. Very cozy and clean. We went the day after Christmas so we truly loved and appreciated the festive decorations and the Christmas tree. Lots of hiking and beautiful scenic areas. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Dianne for such a wonderful experience. We will be back again.

Nathan’s airbnb was a peaceful getaway near Yelleville where my sister lives. The airbnb gave us a beautiful place to stay with an unmatched view! Everyone was responsive and when we needed them they were just a call away! Next time we need somewhere to stay while in Yelleville we will definitley ask if Nathan’s airbnb is available.

We planned this as a 4-day waterfall chasing adventure and Dennis and Naomi were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs, providing us with a list of the 5 best waterfalls to see and providing us with several interactive maps that were developed by a notable "waterfall chaser". As our rental period approached, the weather forecast showed cold and rainy for our entire 4-day stay. We decided to follow through with the rental and Dennis provided additional tips on hiking in the rain. Then, I threw out my back the day before our trip was to start, but once again we decided to follow through. We arrived late at night but with Dennis' guidance were able to find Big Oak Cabin with no trouble at all. Dennis further assisted by providing a list of the 5 best short and easy waterfall trails. Dennis was extremely responsive to other requests for assistance. The vacation turned out to be one of the most memorable we've had. thank you Dennis and Naomi!!

Our stay at the cabin was so peaceful! We loved the wrap-around porch and the views of nature were amazing, especially at sunset. The space was very clean and tidy and we had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Rebecca gave very clear directions to get there plus local recommendations. The drive up there was beautiful as well! If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in the woods but within driving distance of many outdoor activities, stay here!

We had the coziest stay at their cabin this weekend! It was so comfortable and we slept great after all the hiking we did in the cold. We are so grateful for this little oasis in the beautiful woods and we would definitely recommend this to others and come back again!

Great little get away! Beautiful place that had the best porch for morning coffee! The grounds were beautiful and had a great fire pit! Linda had left wood and some fire starter so that was wonderful! The best surprise was the donkey that would greet us at his pen every time we pulled up! Perfect location for a great homebase to go and explore the buffalo!

This was such a lovely place to stay. It was one of the most lovely cabins I’ve visited around the Buffalo. My daughter loved the drawing materials and legos and we all loved the beautiful nature-inspired decorations. We’ll be back!

Beautiful spot off the beaten path, way off! Our family particularly enjoyed swimming in the private cove. We brought SUPs and paddles around. And really enjoyed being off the grid. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made cooking so easy. We’ll definitely be back!

Just stop here with this review and book now. This place is beautiful and clean! We spent our 10 year married anniversary here 4/23 through the 27th. With plans to hit every trail in our sxs around the area turned into just as much time sitting on the porch talking and looking at the beautiful view. This place has direct trail access for the mill creek trails and surrounding which was perfect! The fire pit was perfect at night, man this place is just beautiful. We will be back with our kids next time because they should be able to experience this beautiful place too! Great job and thank you for the honor to stay here!!

We had so much fun at this cabin. Very peaceful and love the surroundings. Loved the porch swing and all the trees. So much to do in the area. We definitely hope to be back.

There happened to be a snowstorm 5 days before our arrival, which left behind very tranquil surroundings, but also an impassable road the first night. We parked near the road entrance and trekked down with our things. The other side of the lake was over halfway melted, but this side doesn’t get as much sun, so something to keep in mind should one happen to have a trip planned before the random once or twice a year Arkansas snow! Probably also cooler in the summer! The furniture is comfortable - the beds surprisingly so - I woke up with much less arthritic pain than usual after sleeping in the bunkbed! There’s a super cute loft with some toys that would be such a cool place for kids to play. I don’t travel much, so maybe this is well known: if you plan to cook much, I would suggest bringing your favorite knives, and if you have a fondness for heavy blankets, bring them. I’m pretty particular about towels, and they are all nicely soft and absorbent, and there are plenty.

This was a very secluded, quiet and peaceful location. It was clean and very comfortable. WiFi worked great which was important since there was no phone service for several miles. The hot tub was great. I suggest having offline maps available to navigate the area. I used my Gaia service which was extremely handy. Follow the hosts suggestions on bringing all the food and supplies for your stay since Ponca is a 45 minute drive.
