Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Branch County

We had a great weekend at the Curtis Meyer House. The house was in great shape and we could tell how much work and love Doug put into the restoration. Our family enjoyed unplugging and experiencing the home as it was designed. We gathered in the large family room, played games, worked on puzzles, played the piano, read and just looked out the huge windows at the nature outside. The fireplace was great to have when it got chilly in the evening. The property is gorgeous, and can imagine it being even more spectacular in late spring and summer when everything is in bloom. We loved walking in the backyard and viewing the home from different perspectives. We saw deer come up to the home at dusk one night and enjoyed watching all the birds that flock to the feeders that Doug stocked. It was a perfect stay for reconnecting as a family and relaxing. A great experience.

Overall, had a fantastic time at this house. Great description and pictures were spot on. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. With all the upgrades, the house felt very warm and cozy. Plenty of room and bedrooms for everyone. Met the owner on the way out and he was super friendly, mentioned their other rentals so we looked those up and will consider in the future. Walking distance to downtown Kalamazoo, would highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here.

The house was beautiful, and the yard was perfect for our furry friend. Melissa communicated really well and when there was an issue with supplies, she quickly responded and took care of the missing item. So I would highly recommend that people stay at Melissa's place.

We really enjoyed our stay. My three-year-old did not want to leave. She really enjoyed finding frogs by the lake and my teenagers really enjoyed the game room. We enjoyed all the space the home had to offer. Definitely would stay here again in the future.

On the first night of our stay, the power in the area was out due to a storm. Travis showed up right away to make sure the generator started working ASAP. Really appreciate the quick action and local support.

Very clean comfy and spacious home , unique decor, lots of space for fun , games in the basement . Would stay again !

This place was absolutely amazing! Our plan was to have a family meet up with all the family members/kids and this was perfect. I couldn’t say enough nice things. If you want a nice place to stay, this is it.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

Didn’t look like much from the outside but was amazing and clean inside. Very well kept and maintained! Host was very responsive and accurate with his answers.

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

Paul's apartment is on the second story of an old mansion. It is extremely clean and well furnished, but the stairs and narrow corridors and doors make it unsuitable for people who have mobility issues. The bathroom has been nicely remodeled but it is very small with a narrow entrance. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Beds are memory foam and really quite comfortable. Lots of cookware in the kitchen. The apartment has 2 enthusiastic space heaters for warmth which you need to adjust to avoid overheating. The large well lit parking area is well maintained. The building was surprisingly quiet considering the large number of apartment units

Nice, comfortable and convenient! After asking if the kitchen had a crockpot, I found a new one sitting on the counter when we arrived! The garage ended up being even more of a blessing with the snow.

We had a great stay at Kris' place! The place was even better than we expected. Check-in was very easy and Kris was friendly and responsive. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and were very comfortable in the space. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and never felt cramped. I especially loved that the bathroom space was large and everything felt new and super clean. Plenty of parking space & quiet surroundings. The neighborhood is nice and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

My stay here was great and I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in town. The location was great and close to everything I needed. When I had a lot of packages come in and I wasn’t there for a few days, Paul was kind enough to bring them inside so I didn’t have to worry about them getting lost or stolen. When something broke, he had a solution to fix the problem quickly. I had a great stay while I was in Kalamazoo!
