If you are looking for some vintage charm by the sea and you love the sound of seagulls, Gull Cottage set over 3 floors is the one for you. It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in. The road is made up of pastel colour houses with a real sense of the neighbourly.

The property is a Grade II listed residence that has very recently been fully refurbished. It was formerly owned by the Queen Mothers interior designer, Lady Barbara Davy, and retains much of her original style, now upgraded to modern day standards. Located between our beautiful hometown of Deal, which was voted one of the UK's best seaside towns and Dover, home to the famous White Cliffs and Dover Castle. Both being a short drive away. Our cottage is set back approx 12 metres of the busy main A258. We are approx 2 miles from main Deal town.

Un petit havre de paix pour les voyageurs en solo, les couples, les voyageurs d'affaires ou les familles jusque 4 personnes. La fôret se trouve à quelques minutes de marche de la maison. Vous accéderez au centre-ville et ses commerces à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous avons mis tout notre coeur dans la rénovation de cette maison, et nous espérons que vous y passerez un bon séjour!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Lovely cosy cottage ideal for a couples getaway from it all. The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Deal town is about 10 mins drive away and has a wealth of shops and restaurants. Great market on Saturdays

My cottage was built in the 1800's and is small but perfectly formed. Newly refurbished it's in a convenient location close to the beach, shops, bars/restaurants, train station and conservation area. It's location makes it the perfect gateway to either London or Europe. Please note to keep my prices low, the price quoted is for couples sharing the main bedroom. If the spare bedroom is required to be made up, it is an extra £20 per night (with 10% discount if longer than one week).
