We loved our stay at Karen's. Cosy and pretty flat with everything you need. Well equipped and felt very homely. Great location for exploring Herefordshire and very beautiful countryside just outside on your doorstep! Lovely walks and peaceful setting. Karen was super friendly, helpful and kind. Perfect host! Perfect little annexe. We loved our time here and loved playing with the animals. Nicole couldn’t have been a better host. Only thing I would say is if you run hot, and you’re staying in a hot period take a fan! With it being open plan, one room upstairs and a kitchen, living room and bathroom downstairs it gets hot hot hot!

Wonderful stay! Pearl and family were friendly and welcoming, she made sure we were settled in and knew were everything was, and offered lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Great facilities just as listed, very comfortable King sized beds and two bathrooms. The garden space is really stunning and tranquil- waking up to the peace and quiet with just birdsong was really special, and great for stargazing at night as there is no light pollution. Lots to see and do locally- we didn’t have time to see and do everything we wanted to so definitely hope to go back again in future as we had such a great time!

We were met by Christine and the beautiful Danny (super friendly Golden Retriever). Christine is so friendly and helpful and it was so relaxing being able to just let our own two dogs run free around the secure garden. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and kindly had tea, coffee and milk available. There was also plenty of room to house two dog beds. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board available (not that we used them!) and 2 camp chairs for sitting outside, which we did use! Really nice space to enjoy a quite break and we all fell in love with Danny, who gives the best cuddles, we'll be back for that alone! We visited the Nags head for food which was about a 5 min drive. They don't allow dogs in but the weather was nice enough to sit outside and food was good. There is a local village shop and pub (The Boughton - really friendly) and restaurant (Food for Thought - we didn't go in) which is around 12 mins walk. We had a lovely time and look forward to visiting again.
