Guest house holiday rentals in Brighton and Hove

I needed a quiet location where I could have some assistance when needed and to be able to come and go when I needed to. There was always someone there to help if I needed it and my daughter and I felt we could relax when we needed to do that too.

Great place at in a wonderful location for exploring East Sussex. Well equipped place with everything we needed, and a lovely hot tub to boot! Sam was a great host- before the trip with super clear directions and check in instructions, and then when we arrived, so helpful in showing us how everything worked, and giving some tips on exploring the local area. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

I stayed at The Barn with my girlfriend, the property was exactly as described. It was clean and warm, the shower was absolutely great. Kitchen was stocked well to cook basic meals, Cath had stocked it with butter, milk, oil etc. which is lovely as we didn’t have to bring / buy these. The location is in the middle of a quiet village with a coffee shop, fish and chip shop, co-op , butchers and pubs all short walks away. We stayed here while driving to the south downs and brighton for days out but we could have spent the whole weekend relaxing in the village too. Cath was very communicative and let us check in early and check out late. 10/10 no complaints, highly recommend for an excellent price!

Had a great week staying at Amberfold with Jon and Tanya. The Lodge is a great little place with everything needed to be self sufficient for a classic Airbnb stay. There is plenty of walking from the front door as well as a pub within walking distance. Jon and Tanya were very accommodating hosts, would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, the little house was clean, cosy and warm, everything you need, we explored the area for walks. We walked to the local pub , The Fox Inn they where very friendly the food was nice. We went to the Parrot at Forest Green for a Sunday Roast which was great. Horsham is near if you fancy a potter around the shops and pick up some bits. Guildford was 30 minutes away also another lovely day there too. Thank you we enjoyed our visit.

Lovely weekend break away. The accommodation was ideal, beautifully presented, comfortable and in lovely surroundings. Jessica had provided plenty of additional bits like breakfast cereals, fresh loaf of bread, milk, preserves and not forgetting two wonderful slices of home made cake! We had a lovely short but sweet stay here. Our hosts were always in communication, whether it was ensuring if extra beds were required, to helping us get into the property. The property had an abundance of helpful info on taxis, things to do. We felt right at home. Thank you for having us!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s a beautiful spot, very peaceful and with a lovely view of a very well kept garden. Everything was so immaculately clean when we arrived, it looked brand new! Helpful and clear visitors guide too! Eleanor was a dream host, she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I can’t recommend this property enough!

We enjoyed our stay at Carolin’s cabin. It was very much as advertised, extremely clean and generally well-appointed. Carolin was friendly and super responsive, which was much appreciated. I would certainly recommend her property to other guests!

Absolutely brilliant. The incredible life story from the host Tony and chris whilst making us feel welcome and like the home is our own. The place is beautiful, modern with a nostalgic/rustic feel to it. BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER!! The fridge is stacked to the brim with all you need, even the best yogurt, granola and honey you’ve ever had. But to top it all off, the view of the seas is to die for. Waking up to that in the morning, you might be in england but you’ll feel the like you are far away on holiday. Exceptional host, lovely people with a real family vibe. Thank Tony and Chrissy, we will see you this summer. 10/10 xx

I Stayed at Andrea's as a single man, the accomodation was clean tidy everything was there for day to day living just perfect. The local area good for shops and places to visit plus the coast is not that far away, you can see the sea from the property, although some miles away. I enjoyed my stay, would book again if visiting Sussex again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay, lovley and clean with a most relaxing hot tub after a days cycling. A gorgeous pub 1 minute walk away with delicious food then back for a cosy log burner. The only thing that could be added would be some dressing gowns for getting in/out of the hot tub. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and hope we will return again in the near future.

Myself, husband and 10 months old stayed here for a long weekend and it was lovely. Claire easy to get in contact prior to the booking and she was very thoughtful with toys around and a highchair for our little one. Would highly recommend. I wish we had more time to explore the area as it was beautiful.

Beautiful Air BnB in a peaceful rural setting. With in easy drive of Brighton and Lewes and walking distance to a lovely local pub. Great countryside with pretty walks. Sharon was quick to respond to any queries and a great host! Lovely place to spend Christmas

We have stayed in quote a few airbnb locations and prefer it to staying in hotels and i have to say this is by far one of the best experiences I have every had with a host. Simply perfect. Responsive to small requests and highly recommended to anyone that wants a hassle free experience. The Hove coast - a shortish walk away - is relaxing and chilled and overall a lovely stay. Fantastic cottage to visit and explore the local Area, which was new to us. The cottage had everything possible you needed to be comfortable and relaxed. It was very peaceful, private and set in beautiful gardens. Avril was great to deal with from start to finish - we thoroughly recommend staying here !

I’ve just come back from a 6 day stay. The decider for me was the dog sitting service! I needed a place that was near to Brighton, Worthing and Shoreham for various family events but having my dog in tow meant I couldn’t take him to all dos but Wes and his family took care of him and I can’t thank them enough! They made my stay stress free and although I didn’t stay in the annex for long, it was a quiet haven I needed to escape to after some busy, long days. The annex itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enough for me and the pooch. First few days I was on my own and felt safe. My 15 year old niece then joined me and Sarah made up the sofa bed for her. I’d say the annex is just big enough for the 2 of us, it would’ve been a bit of a squeeze for a third person. I loved the bathroom, big and spacious with a great shower! Now I have found this little gem I will definitely stay again! Thank you Wes and family x

Stayed here for a few days with my partner, the studio was spotless and has everything you need, not a massive space but perfect for a couple. Despite not being in the centre, we used the buses and had no trouble getting to and from Brighton as they were very reliable. Russell and Julia were brilliant as well and made sure we had everything we needed and were very helpful with their directions.

Stayed at Pennys a few times now with my dachshund. Always clean tidy and comfortable. Good location for walking Alice. Pennys around if you need her. Good location for lewes and Brighton Staying again soon Thank you Penny
