Small Rustic cabin (400sq') built in the heart of the Columbia wetlands. We are 5kms off the hwy on a country graded secondary public road( kept in good shape unless you happen to book at a rainy time which is totally out of our control). The cabin is very private and quaint. It has a queen murphy bed in open area and bunk beds in a separate bedroom and is well equipped. Children are welcome. Pricing is set up for 2 adults and 2 children. Additional adults will be charged $50 each per night.
“This special place is highly recommended if you are in the area and want a comfortable, unique base of exploration with friendly and responsive hosts. Well designed small cabin that has everything you need. Quiet and close to nature. There is another cabin being built which is great for large groups to rent both but is close to the first cabin.”
Two loft bedrooms available in this original fur log cabin built in 1972, right in the heart of the Kootenays, with a direct mountain view. The cabin is in a heavily treed, small subdivision, amongst plenty of wildlife including deer and wild turkeys (often hanging out right on the property).
“Fabulous log cabin just north of Radium. Hosts Sean and Benjamin (doggy) are easygoing, low-key, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were given excellent fire-building tips and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace each night. Sean provided wood the first night, but better that you bring your own (available at every gas station in Radium/Invermere) so you don't deplete his supply. Lots of hot water in the shower. Sean made room for our supplies in the fridge and was cool with our teens and child lazing about being screenagers. People with mobility limitations should be aware that sleeping is in a loft but the bathroom is on the main floor.”
This is a small cozy rustic cabin with a view of mountain. There are many activities within short driving distance. The cabin has all necessary items to cook basic meals along with a bbq on the deck. Peaceful cabin to relax in or use as resting spot after great hikes.
“Bev and Alan's place is quiet and cozy. Equipped with anything you may need after a day of hiking and or sight seeing. We were able to bring both our dogs which was great. Max enjoyed playing with the other dogs on the property. The location was perfect for quiet mornings and nights; and close proximity to the National Parks. Other amenities i.e. groceries, gas, were close by and easily accessible. We would recommend this place!”
