Farmstay holiday rentals in British Columbia

This is our second time in this lovely, perfectly located little cabin. We walked to Ruckle Park from the cabin, slept well in the quiet and dark, made good meals and enjoyed the yummy breakfast scones brought over in the morning. We will be back again.

We had a fantastic time at Gerard and Caio’s place. The barn is absolutely beautiful and far exceeded our expectations in comfort. The hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive, and extremely generous. We look forward to coming back!

We had such a lovely stay at Raquel’s place! Raquel was super responsive and easy to communicate with—she gave us lots of helpful info about the area, and when we ran out of pancake mix, she even brought us a new bag (so thoughtful!). The place itself is really cute and peaceful, with cows nearby and a sweet big black cat we got to meet. It’s in a great location too—right off the main road and just a minute away from a cider place we really enjoyed. The room was spotless and well equipped. We appreciated the selection of teas, the automatic coffee machine, and even dog biscuits—it’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. There were a few harmless ants here and there, but honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

We deliberately chose a farm type environment that had horses to give our 9 year old daughters a different kind of experience. We were extremely pleasantly surprised by Laurel's equine program. Laurel went out of her way to show us around the farm, enlightened us with the very good work she is doing with her Equine Assisted Learning (ELA) program for local schools. We took part in a one hour session the next day and the girls loved it! Highly recommended as an essential stepping stone towards horse back riding! When I mentioned to Laurel that she has been modest in advertsing what she is doing, she said she prefers to undersell and overdeliver - and she sure did! What really impressed me was that she is running an excellent airbnb experience to help fund the EAL program to support kids who need support for a variety of reasons. The lodges are professionally decorated (vintage style) and are simply wonderful to stay in! So peaceful and so beautiful! A lovely host - we will be back!

The location of this rental was even more beautiful in person, than in the photos. On a 25 acre farm, it had water and mountain views and was peaceful and relaxing, while at the same time only a short drive from amenities (restaurant, coffee shop, grocery). The rental was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Trish and her husband were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed her visit, and especially the two resident Goldens! It's a great place to relax and disconnect, we used the wood fireplace which was real nice touch. Highly recommend we would definitely return.

A beautiful & quiet spot. The place is quaint and pristine and the beds are very comfortable. The added bonus was walking to the orchard with a coffee in the morning as the sun rose. I would definitely return. Thank you for hosting us Patrick.

Our group of 6 adults had a comfortable, peaceful getaway. Jenny and Kyle’s place was spotless and comfortable. We met Kyle on arrival and found him helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with the chickens and goats and seeing the cows in the field from the kitchen window! The kitchen was well outfitted and the living room and other common areas were spacious. The metalwork fixtures and finishes in the house are clearly a labour of love. Would absolutely stay again - thank you, Kyle and Jenny!

Loved this spot! Gorgeous scenery, clean and homey accommodation and overall lovely vibe. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Elyse’s place was fantastic. The check in and out was smooth. The view from the room was like a painting, and we felt very much at home. Would come back here when we visit Kelowna again!

We arrived at the property after a long day of driving and received friendly greetings from one of the hosts, as well as from the farm dogs 😊 The cottage and surrounding property were very peaceful. It was lovely to be able to walk down to the pond and watch the ducks. Horses and cows were also within view and a family of 4 deer made a couple of appearances too! I felt rested and rejuvenated after our stay. I wish we had been able to stay for more than one night. I'd definitely book this accommodation again if I'm ever in the area.

We had a wonderful stay here. The airbnb is conveniently located to Courtnay & far enough away to enjoy the peaceful countryside. The airbnb is laid out well and the bed is comfy. The host was super friendly and responsive, and I loved the horse & pony. I am have some sleep challenges. I need my space to be very dark and quiet. I am also hypermobile and need a firm mattress to sleep well, my partner needs a softer bed. So the following is for my fellow sensitive sleepers. One of the reasons we chose this place is because it is out of town, in the country and I wanted darkness and quiet. The place was soo quiet! I loved it. Super checkmark on that - even the fridge has a very quiet hum. At night, the space is very dark but the blinds are light coloured, so the sun comes through easily. The main living space is very bright but doesn't affect the bedroom. The mattress was firm but not hard (which i loved) with a soft topper, so it suited both the needs of me and my partner.

Excellent. Beautiful, well maintained and well stocked cottage. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature and close enough to town to strike the perfect balance. Appreciated the thoughtful, small touches - fresh eggs & cream in the fridge, extra very soft blankets, sweet treats upstairs and on the table in the kitchen, teas and lots of bath supplies.

We absolutely loved our stay! 2 nights was not enough. The dome was everything we hoped it would be and the property was beautiful. The chickens walking around and their wonderful dog, Oden, added so much to our experience. One thing I don't remember being in the description, but is worth noting, is that the loft bed is a king! And very comfortable and cozy. We really couldn't have asked for more in our stay. Alyssa, the co-host who met us when we arrived was friendly and helpful. As were Tyler and Lucinda. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline and felt comfortable walking around the property. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful too. Nestled in a private area in the trees, it was magical under the lights at night. We can't wait to go back.

What a lovely stay! The accomodations were very clean and well appointed, and I loved all the windows! The farm animals were delightful, the goats would greet me every time I went outside (waiting for carrots of course!). Lots of sun for most of the day, it was so nice to sit outside on the deck in the sunshine watching the animals. And the hottub was very relaxing and private. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Shelia's place was even more gorgeous than the pictures. The place had everything we needed and then some (like free-range eggs from her chickens!). The chickens were quiet and so were the surroundings. The pantry was well stocked with oils, vinegar, spices, and coffee beans. The beds and couches were super comfy. The outdoor seating and fire table were the perfect place to start the day with morning coffee and to end the day with a drink in the evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for everything!

We loved our quick stay here and wish could have stayed longer. The cabin was beautiful and so cosy. Exactly as described. Highly recommend!

Great space. Exactly what we needed for our three day stay. Lots of room. Had some stuff already available for our use, butter, eggs, cream, scones, cookies. Linens were comfortable. Had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. We would recommend and stay here again.

I had a lovely two nights stay. It was quiet, peaceful and serene . The property is beautiful. I felt like it was my home for two days. The delicious granola , fresh eggs, fruit and yogurt, coffee, etc. was a perfect addition to a wonderful stay. The bed was cosy and the sheets and duvet were cosy as well. The kitchen had everything you needed. Thank you so much for providing such a tranquil place to stay.

Staying at Kim’s cabin was an excellent experience! Accommodations were spotless, peaceful and had everything we could possibly need. The surrounding area is breathtaking with adventure right at our doorstep. I highly recommend living your best life at Kim’s Cabin!

We had a great stay at Vance’s place! It was central to visiting good friends in Comox and riding the mountain bike trails in Cumberland. It was very clean, comfortable, and just as described. Vance was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the deck. Would definitely stay again—highly recommend!

This is a great spot for inter-generational families because the layout of living areas and bedrooms allows everyone to to be separate or together as they choose. We loved the quirkiness combined with the lovely modern bathrooms. And the property surrounding the house is so much fun to explore. It is a great family house and all the kids loved the pool and water slide. We have already decided to come back next year.

We had a great 3-night stay at Bonnie and Dave's place. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, the hot tub, and the outdoor fire pit. Bonnie and Dave even let us put up our tent in front of the Airbnb, so that my husband and son could have a bit of a "camping" experience--something our son had wanted to do all summer. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family meals, and we appreciated Bonnie's freshly baked muffins, eggs, and other food she left for us. The location of the Airbnb worked well for a fun day trip to Salt Spring Island via the Crofton ferry, being only a 15-20 minute drive from Crofton, and it was only about a 40-minute drive from the Kinsol Trestle section of the Cowichan Valley Trail, which we enjoyed biking along. Bonnie, Dave, and their dog, Sawyer, were away during our stay, so we didn't get to meet them on this visit, but they were always prompt, helpful, and friendly with all their communications. Thanks again for a great stay, Bonnie and Dave!

What an incredible location hosted by lovely people! You o are truly their guests when you spend time on their vinyard. Visiting the wine store and hearing about all the wine grown on the land you get to watch the sun set on is such a memorable experience! And the hot tub on the porch is such a treat, especially when the Orchestra of frogs hiding in the adjacent creek start their evening performance. We're excited to return!
