Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The place was pristine, very well equipped and we arrived to some essentials such as milk, eggs, butter etc and bathroom toiletries which was a lovely touch. Comfortable beds, and everything we needed including lots of clear recommendations of places to visit. We couldn't make the most of the wonderful surroundings due to the weather, but we plan to come back to Cornwall again and will definitely look to reserve Swallows Cottage again. our experience was 100% positive,not one negative niggle to report.

5 stars aren’t enough, I’d give double if it were an option, our stay was perfectly perfect, we can’t wait to visit again & again! The perfect hosts, a wonderful homely space with the most beautiful outlook. The personal touches and evidence of their talents and interests created such a warm and welcoming space, a huge thank you!

Booked as a very last minute stay due to a different venue cancelling. Communication was super, so accommodating seeing as we had booked this the night before! We came for a peaceful weekend away with friends and we had the best time! The lodge was immaculate and had everything you need! Warm & cosy - perfect for this time of year! We lovedddd the jacuzzi - even watched the sunrise in the morning in it! Perfect walk to the lake which was absolutely stunning! And the cafe on the lake was yummy! They’re breakfast 10/10!! We also had a mishap with lost car keys before we left but host was really understanding! Could not recommend more! Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay over new year at the cabin. It’s excellently located, near Dartmoor and loads of walks, and is really easy to find and access using Lucia’s instructions. The interior of the cabin is beautifully decorated and it’s a really peaceful setting for a getaway. The cabin is kept exceptionally clean, all the soft furnishings are hypo-allergenic (my partner has terrible allergies and has never breathed so easily). Everything about the place is so well thought out, it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable breaks we’ve had. We will definitely be coming back!
