A beautiful farmhouse on the eight castles route is located near the Pieterpad and the two Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer. Great for cyclists, hikers, nature lovers and families. This farm is on the edge of the largest nature reserve of the Geldersche Achterhoek "the Grote Veld" and next to the Wildenborchse forest, on the border of Lochem and Vorden. The farmhouse has a spacious kitchen and living room, two bedrooms, a large private garden overlooking the meadows and the forest.

You will stay in a spacious (50 m2) relaxing studio. Surrounded by paintings and a beautiful garden, it's a great place to clear your head. In the middle of the beautiful Achterhoek with its beautiful scenery and estates, our guest house is located in the hamlet of Varssel. Hiking and biking trails too over! Nearby is Museum More in Ruurlo and Gorssel, and the Hanseatic city of Zutphen is also not far away. The Pieterpad is 50 m away and the golf club (restaurant and terrace) is 200 m away.

Het Quilthuisje, a unique home in the countryside

In the outskirts, between Zutphen and Vorden is a sandy path, surrounded by the countryside of Hackfort and the Waliën, the Quilthuisje. The cottage owes its name to the former inhabitant, who spent the last 20 years practically daily at the large table doing her quilting.
