Cottage holiday rentals in Bruges

We spent 4 nights as a couple at this gorgeous cottage in Bornem. Everything was very clean and tidy and exactly as shown in the pictures and described in the listing. The kitchen in particular was extremely well equipped. I have rarely seen this in a vacation rental. In addition to kitchen utensils of any kind, there was also a freezer and microwave. Also noteworthy is the great secluded location surrounded by nature. If you are looking for peace and relaxation and just want to switch off, this is the place to be. The hot tub overlooking the lake then does the rest. We can only recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Carl is an excellent host, Upon arrival, we felt immediately welcome. They had even done something extra for our “mini - honeymoon”. This was super sweet! Everything was also neat and clean. If you had any questions, you could ask them in the app. He was always very responsive, he also gave a lot of useful tips. E.g. where we could find a charging station for our car, nice restaurants nearby, the bakery and shops... also when we went somewhere for a day, we could ask for tips. Wow! I enjoyed its hidden location and the amenities. A real gem. This is a very nice place just to sit back and relax. It has it all. I stayed for 12 days with my wife, son, and daughter-in-law and there was more than enough space. The kitchen and kitchen table areas are bright and inviting. The living room is laid back, not as bright, and very relaxing. And the coffee maker is awesome. I enjoyed every morning making a phenomenal cup of coffee, looking out into the yard, while Juliette the cat greets me looking for her breakfast. So cool. Bravo!

Very nice cottage in which we had a great holiday. We could watch wild goose flights in the beautiful field across the street. The surrounding area has many bike paths to explore the surrounding area by bike. There is a downside to the shower that deserves a small repair because the temperature tap is blocked and it is no longer adjustable once the water runs. Other than that everything was perfect!

Wonderful location and stay. We stayed with our 6 year old daughter who loved the garden and quick access to the beach and shops. (15 minute walk) Plenty to do in the area The accommodation was great. Very spacious kitchen with enough provided for cooking and cleaning. The wellness area was great with a large jacuzzi. Maybe a little overpriced at €65 per night considering we didnt want to use it for too many hours, so decided to only use it for the first night, but was very nice. We would 100% return, because of the location and overall accommodation.

We had a lovely stay in Kapelle. If you are looking for a quiet place with lots of privacy, Casa Fico is definitely recommended! What a luxury: a 'private' hot tub overlooking the Zeeland fruit trees. From Kapelle you have many fun trips within 30 minutes or you rent bikes or an e-scooter to explore the area.

I can recommend this cozy vacation home to anyone. Fully equipped. Beautifully situated in the hill country of the Westhoek. Upon arrival, a bottle of beer and Easter eggs was ready for us. Thank you for the hospitality!

Enjoy your stay in this accommodation, well equipped, tastefully decorated, in a peaceful area, within walking distance to the beach (15 min). Bruges is a 25 minute drive (not to be missed). supermarket nearby.

Warm, friendly welcome from our host. This accommodation is clean, generous & well presented and is conveniently located for Bruges, local walks and amenities and for connection to other local towns and locations. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and would suit walkers and cyclists (it has an integral garage) and there is adequate local on-street parking. We would definitely stay here again

Lovely, beautiful and practical holiday home. We had a wonderful time in the house also because there was really everything present. Super cozy house and in a good location a few minutes from the beach and close to facilities. We enjoyed it and would love to come back again.

We stayed 3 nights during the Easter holidays with our daughter (18 months). A crib and high chair could be borrowed at a small surcharge. Due to the stairs and the open construction, it is not ideal for infants, but we still felt very comfortable.

We had a great time at Philipp's place. The house is large, well-equipped and pleasant to live in. It has the charm of an inhabited house, we are far from an impersonal rental. The place is well placed to discover Ostend, its surroundings and Bruges, by bike, car or public transport. Philipp is very friendly and available.

Cozy cottage a 10-minute drive from the sea. We enjoyed it!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Our group of six adults felt completely at home in this beautiful house. It’s thoughtfully furnished and boasts a charming garden, complete with a stunning camellia which was in bloom on the patio during our visit. The property offers secure parking, protected by an electric sliding gate. A major perk is its convenient location—just a short 6-minute drive from the 4 Cantons Metro Station, which offers free parking in a multi-story. Luc was prompt and helpful when we reached out for assistance. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay with Johanna. The design of the house is simply stunning—you can feel the love and attention to detail in every corner. Thoughtful touches like bath salts, Easter chocolates, and a bottle of wine made us feel instantly at home. This cozy cottage is the perfect retreat, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Great location for visiting Bruges. The quiet of the countryside... The house is very comfortable and well appointed. We did some family petanque on the grounds in front of the house and were able to enjoy the nature around. Lots of good memories at this place.

We had a lovely time. We made the journey to visit the WW1 battlefields and the house was in a good location for this. The house was perfect for us with everything we needed. We were very fortunate with the weather which allowed us to make good use of the garden and enjoy the beautiful views. When it was cooler in the evenings the wood burner was an added bonus.
