Our house is located directly on the sunny slope of the Irchel mountain, which reaches almost 700 m in altitude and has many forest hiking trails and vines. At the top of the hill you can see the beautiful Alpine panorama. Orchids are also available here. Rheinfall, Schaffhausen and Zurich can be reached in 30 minutes, Winterthur in 15 minutes

You will live in a part of the house with your own entrance, small living room, kitchen and bathroom for your own use. So you have a lot of privacy. The bedroom is on the 1st floor, where there are also a few rooms and the owner's office. You don't have a completely closed apartment. Please no smoking. There are cats in the house. There is a parking space. All in a quiet garden neighborhood with lots of birds. In summer, use the garden seating. For 2 people, only for a short time 3 people.

Welcome to "The Artist's Castle," my Schloss Kunterbunt. This is where history meets good vibes. Breathe, be you. You want to create? The studio and workshop are waiting for you. Overlooking the river in my historic oasis in medieval Eglisau.

We are a family who runs the farm ourselves and look forward to welcoming guests in our specially furnished guest room. A dog and cats as well as a few chickens currently live on our farm. We are also constantly thinking about acquiring more animals. There are numerous dirt roads for hikes. The Thur and the Rhine are within reach and beautiful bike tours can be made. We are happy to help with planning activities.

Spacious, rural and close to the airport

​Located in rural Hochfelden, you can reach Zurich Airport by car in 15 minutes and the city in 40 minutes. Alternatively, a bus runs regularly to Bülach train station. From there, there are direct connections to Zurich and to the airport (approx. 45 minutes travel time). For a more comfortable arrival and departure, I also offer a paid shuttle service to Zurich Airport and the city.

This is a modern, clean and comfortable apartment in the historical centre of Eglisau - your home away from home! We are close to the river Rhine, and are surrounded by vineyards and forest. It takes 20 minutes to get to Zurich airport by car, or 30 minutes by train.
