The house was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was perfect for our family—spacious, cozy, and well thought out. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. It was so peaceful to soak in while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We ended every evening out there and it made the trip feel like a treat. The backyard was another favorite—, with plenty of room for the kids to explore and play while the adults relaxed. The setting felt so peaceful, with lovely touches that made it feel special. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a space that’s both fun and relaxing for families. We’d absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with all the comforts of home.

This home is amazing! I’ve stayed here with my co workers for two weeks and the rooms are all fantastic. The kitchen has tons of room for whoever and comes with just about everything you can forget. The deck is arguably my favorite part, it’s stays shaded and the hot tub surrounded by pines is super relaxing. Meghann was super proactive with everything and made our stay here one of the best we’ve experienced in the area. 10/10 we wish we were going back next week.

Charming and cozy cabin in a picturesque setting—Deborah’s place is a skiers’ heaven. Prime location to access various resorts, wood burning fire place, and a relaxing hot tub to cap the day. Deborah is a top notch host who is responsive, helpful, and takes the ownership to make sure everything is right. We had a great time staying at her cabin and will book again if we are in the area.

This was a great place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very spacious and the location was really nice right on the golf course. Also, the lake is across the street which makes for a great view when going on walks. There is a day use area just down the road, as well as a playground. The house is full stocked with anything we needed, including the essentials for a trip with our kids/baby. We’d love to return and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin - done how Airbnb used to be. A family sharing a beautiful home they take great care of. The kids games, the well stocked spice cupboard, the welcome pack. All little details that stack up to make this a very special place indeed. These wonderful hosts deserve only the very best of guests. (And we are hoping to be among them again)

The surrounding forest was absolutely beautiful and gave the whole place a peaceful, secluded feel. We also loved the fun amenities like the net and basketball court— really fun for kids. We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This was our second time staying here because we had loved it so much the first time. It’s a comfortable and spacious cabin in a gorgeous location that is quiet and secluded, right by the river. The house is clean, with many amenities, and the hosts provide clear instructions for everything.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. Thank you Neal!

We made an early April visit with our 5 year-old for one more swing at snow play and sledding. Fortunately, the approach was clear but seeing a snow plow parked and ready to go near the property makes me think that help will always be available. There was a mountain of snow to ourselves in the back of the property which we enjoyed. The home was quiet, clean and well stocked. The wood-burning fireplace was easy to use with plenty of firewood available. We loaded it up around 7 p.m. and followed the video instructions to keep the home warm till the morning. The radiator and the ceiling fan helped maintain the temp during the day, but the room doors need to be left open for the heat to waft in. We used the full kitchen regularly, all the appliances are newer and they worked well. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean with plenty of fresh towels. We appreciated the new instant water heater and how quickly it provided hot water. Nyack Snow Park was outstanding at $30/day total.

What a charming and cozy little cabin! I came here for a personal retreat in November. The cabin was built in 1917, but has been updated and has all the necessary modern conveniences including WiFi. Clio is a small town on the edge of the Feather River, so often frequented by wildlife. I saw deer, quail and wild turkeys wandering by the windows. The River is only 3 blocks away and one night I saw the most gorgeous sunset there. The neighborhood is very quiet and located near lots of great hiking. I hiked to Grass and Madora Lakes, both beautiful and still showing some fall color. The nights and mornings were chilly so I build fires in the little wood stove and it kept me very toasty! Cami and Lori welcomed me with a couple of nice 1/2 bottles of wine and a sweet card, left some chocolates in the bedroom. Nice touches. Everything was thoughtfully and simply deocrated and organized. I look forward to my next retreat!

Wonderful cabin. Would recommend for anyone looking to get away. Also the hosts were helpful and good with communication.

We had a nice time at the cottage. The location was very convenient to skiing- less than a 15 minute drive to sugar bowl, donner, and a few other locations that we will try it the future (soda springs skiing and royal gorge cross country). We skied at sugar bowl and really liked the overall experience at that particular resort. As for the cabin, the main living space was cozy with an inviting couch and a functional kitchen. The wood stove was amazing and heated the entire place. We had some car trouble with the two snow storms but Shawn was very responsive and helped us every step of the way.

This was our second year we have rented this place for our family's annual lake trip. We loved it! The upgraded air conditioner in the living room and the ceiling fans in each bedroom definitely made it a very comfortable experience. You also can't beat the private dock and beach area. We will be booking this place again for next year. We love the privacy of this home too. Very grateful for the quick responses from the host too when we had any minor questions. Definitely can't wait for our trip next year!
