No hidden fees! Discounts for 7 nights or more! The Hare’s retreat is one of two accommodations on site, the other ‘The Kingfisher Studio’. (not in view of each other) A beautiful little annex with its own access and garden. Located 150m off the A134, opposite Nowton park, and only 1.5 miles from the town centre. With approx 200m of river frontage and a good sized field and garden . The Annex has a large bedroom with kingsize bed, kitchen, wet room/WC and a small but comfortable living room.

Cowslip houses three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen diner, dining area and lounge that can accommodate up to six people. The generous open-plan living area leads to a private and secluded outside terrace with stunning views of the meadow. The lodge contains underfloor heating throughout. As a welcome on your arrival, and to make you feel at home right away, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, a small carton of milk, sugar, bread, butter, cooking oil, eggs and a delicious homemade cake.

IMPORTANT: THERE is NO KITCHEN only mini fridge and microwave for OCCASIONAL USE. The Studio has private entrance from the GARDEN door on the right of the main house, with a secluded walled courtyard with decking NOTE: 1. there is NO GUARANTEED parking nearby. 2 there are several steep/uneven steps, so it’s NOT suitable if you have mobility limitations.
