Small cabin with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here you can experience a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. At the top awaits the prize, flat and nice with beautiful views :) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. You get the feeling of being "alone in the whole world" despite 7 minutes to Fagernes town. Mindfulness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. There is one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from the parking space to the cabin. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 10 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin.
