Holiday rentals with lake access in Buskerud

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had a wonderful extended weekend in the home. The hosts were extremely sweet and welcoming. The place is exactly as pictured.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

It was a very cozy stay. We liked that location was very quiet and private. The house was clean and stylish. We enjoyed the extra pattern on the furniture :) Ane is a really kind host. Answered the questions and gave clear instructions. Recommended!

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.

It was a great stay for halfway between Oslo and Bergen. Roomy and kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

Very nice little cottage located in a beautiful place. Wonderful that there is also a sauna in the cottage, really a plus!

Another great stay in Geilo. Lene is a great communicator and her apartment is the perfect place for a family trip to the slopes.

we returned to Håvard after two weeks of adventure and it felt nice to be welcomed back. we had a long drive behind, and in front of us, but we could relax at Håvards place and restored our energy

We spent our winterbreak holiday at her place for the second time around. It felt like a home away from home. It has newly renovated bathroom. Almost everything we needed was readily available. Berit was very welcoming. The kids had fun and we would denitely come back. Highly recommended

We are super happy after a great visit to Kjetil's apartment this Easter. The apartment is located in a great location with a lovely view of Gaustatoppen. The apartment is also central and close to both restaurants, ski slopes, hiking trails, Gaustablikk. There is also a shuttle bus between the various places. We are a family of four, where two are kids and they enjoyed themselves in the room with bunk beds. The apartment is just the right size for the four of us and was well equipped with everything needed for a stay. We enjoyed extra: The balcony with doors that could be opened in solsteika. Plenty of hooks to hang in the hallway. Close proximity to everything/amazing ski center!! Access to lots on the appletv. Convenient with underground parking. A few things that didn't affect the overall impression in total, but that can be mentioned; occasionally loud music from the après-ski, as well as music from neighbors. A kettle would be nice since the stove has a long heating time. All in all: We've had a wonderful stay and can really recommend the apartment/ place!!

Great place to stay with all amenities in place. Ingun as a host was very warm and helpful. I would recommend this place for groups of 6 or more who would want to stay close to nature 😊

I cannot comment on this apartment because a few days before our arrival the agency offered us a shawl, the brennåsel hut because they had a problem. It was a sublime shawl with sauna, 4 bedrooms, in short a little paradise. Check-in was very simple as well as communication.

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Signe was a fantastic host. She even offered to help us carry a boat to the nearby lake to go for a cruise. Her house was clean and already warm when we arrived. The area is peaceful and quiet. I full heartedly recommend her and her house. Thanks for everything, Signe! :)
