Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cabo Verde

Natalia is an incredibly sympathetic person, if we had more time, I would have loved to spend some time with her. The accommodation was absolutely incredible, kept really high standards. The neighbors were friendly and the block was quiet, despite the proximity to the major streets.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This is where you want to be! Pool large enough for short laps. The house is huge! Lucas' relatives are across the driveway and very helpful with issues. Expect some family activity, but other times completely quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves whenever we used it. Rental car needed.

Charming and quiet house, matches the photos. Sandra prepared a typical meal for us twice, very good. She also holds a gazebo next to the church with drinks and food. 2 small grocery stores in the village and a distributor (ATM). Village quite central for all excursions with aluguer.

We had a lovely stay at Carlo's house and enjoyed his hospitality. The view is amazing and the house well equiped. Supermarkets, hiking spots and the town are all nearby - which was very conveniant. Great place to stay during visiting the valley!

A gem! The bed is super comfortable and the apartment airy and very beautiful. Lots of good restaurants nearby and the beach nearby. In short, we loved it!

The accommodation is ideally located by the sea , very quiet , it feels good. Anny was unpleasant and we will never thank her enough for her kind advice. The couple working for the house also perfectly represents kindness and humility Cape Verdienne. I only want to go back because a night is too short to appreciate the place. See you soon🥰.

The accommodation is very good, the amenities are good. The shops and the sea are close. But above all Maria is exceptional, close, responsive, friendly. Excellent pastry chef, she offered us good cake. It feels like home. Her husband speaks English and a little French. I recommend this beautiful experience.

Beautifully located apartment. Very clean and cared for. Neat bathroom and kitchen, pleasant bed. Kevin was very correct and accessible in communication. In addition, it is flexible in terms of arrival and departure time. We found Santa-Maria to be far too touristy and massive and would absolutely not return there, but of course that is only a personal preference. The apartment is definitely recommended.

We had an unforgettable stay at Mr. Koen’s villa at Melia Tortuga Beach. He went above and beyond to make everything easy and smooth for us, including putting us in touch with Mr. Silvino, a fantastic local taxi driver who picked us up at the airport and was always just a message away. He and his nephew really made our trip with great tips and insights about the island. The villa itself is simply stunning. Right in front of the beach with a breathtaking sea view. It’s spacious, well equipped, and the private pool is a real highlight. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and ending the day with a dip in the pool was an absolute dream. This place is an incredible spot with excellent VfM, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re leaving in just an hour, and we’re already talking about coming back. Thank you, Mr. Koen, for everything! P.S. Please consider tipping local workers. The minimum wage in Cabo Verde is only 13,000 CVE/month (~120€), and tips make a big difference.

The village had already been in Santa Maria and this experience managed to be better. The house is the same as the pictures but I wasn't worried about this point because I wanted to enjoy the city more. The location is one of the best, in front of the beach and three minutes from the center. Super safe place, I always walked at dawn and even alone and never felt unsafe. At the same time, it is a safe place and a family environment. I loved it all and advised! I'll be back soon!

One of the best views ever. And the sound of the ocean right out the front door is so peaceful. A 2 minute walk to a restaurant. Or a 3 minute walk. Or a 4 minute walk. Or a string of restaurants during your 30 minute walk. I could easily spend more time on the upper veranda, watching the waves come in. My wife slept upstairs in a comfortable bed while I slept downstairs in one of another pair of comfortable beds. I chose downstairs because I have a bad knee and I found the stairs to the upper bedroom problematic. Other than that “No Problem.” The local maid provided what we asked for and Luis remotely answered every question promptly. Done deal, thanks Luis. It was an affordable long weekend.

This apartment was perfectly located and well furnished. We enjoyed having access to the pool of the residence, and to be within walking distance of Santa Maria beach, the pier, and many restaurants as well as the main street. Carolina was there for our check-in and allowed us to do it a bit earlier than the scheduled time. She was super friendly and gave us lots of tips and info. She also helped us store our bags after check-out as we had an evening flight. Overall we were very happy and would definitely go back! Thanks again Carolina :-)

Excellent stay: beautiful accommodation, beautiful environment, very quiet, excellent location, secure. Small shops nearby, city center within a 10-minute walk. Very accommodating because our flight was at 9:45 p.m. and we were able to leave the accommodation at 5 p.m. to take advantage of our last day in Sal. Nelson took care of the taxi at check-in and check-out. Thanks very mich😁

Patricia and her husband offer a magnificent house with the most beautiful view! The apartment offered everything we needed - a pool, quiet rooms, a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor BBQ and all support we could think of of Patricia and her staff. All in all: we had a wonderful stay in Maio, it is really an island to calm down, enjoy nature, sun and the sea. Thanks a lot!

The location was great! 7 minutes walk from the harbor. Supermarket just around the corner. Restaurants are within a few minutes' walking distance. Praia de Armazem is a 3-minute walk away (beach). Room was very spacious and the bed was gigantic. There was a kettle, fridge and some cutlery and crockery available. Bathroom was simple, but nice and warm water. Arlindo was not there (on tour with the band, definitely recommended to listen!), but his daughter was very helpful.

Super accommodation and warm welcome by Fabrice and Magali, what more could you ask for? The sea view is fabulous, and at night the sound of the waves lull your sleep. The shower is probably one of the best in the island (pressure and hot water). The place to welcome, Ribeira da Prata, is a very nice little village (with a superb beach) that we preferred to its more anonymous neighbor Tarrafal. To conclude, an address not to be missed!!!

Small 2-day getaway on the island of Maio with our 5 year old daughter. A driver was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport to drive us to the accommodation. We were then greeted by Pompeo, a super nice person, who explained to us the places, nearby restaurants to visit or go. The place was perfect, we were upgraded in a beautiful suite! We loved the decorations and amenities. We recommend this listing, everything was perfect, thank you.

Our stay with Hans-Peter was very good. He’s a very helpful host, always there if you need him. I very much recommend his accomodation to go there and enjoy Maio.

I spent one month in this apartment and everything was absolutely perfect! from the friendly welcome from the host and her responsiveness in helping me with any question, to the central location, comfort and space of the apartment, this was the perfect home away from home. The flat is very spacious and breezy and has an amazing view. The kitchen is well equipped and functional, and I loved having a washing machine. The bedroom was quiet and the bed was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure and temperature. Not to mention the place was super squeaky clean and it exceeded all my expectations. I would book it again in a heartbeat!

The apartment is very spacious and has amazing sea views. The terrace and rooftop are very nice. Located 10/15 minutes from the center of Sao Filipe, the accommodation is on a perfectly quiet street, ideal for falling asleep lulled by the sound of the waves.

I thank Fatima who remained available throughout our stay. The apartment is as described, the residence is secured with caretaker. There are places all around the residence to park. Fatima left us a parking space in the basement. I will come back to this place if I have to return to the island of Santiago,. I would recommend it, especially if you are a group.
