Holiday rentals in Cabo Verde

We had an apartment with a terrace, the view was stunning, the setting was superb. The apartment was clean and as described for the equipment. Nearby excellent local restaurants. We arrived and left with a taxi but organized by the host, a peace of mind that is definitely worth it!

Koen was so easy to work with and sorted everything for us including Silvino the taxi driver from the airport. Advice from us though is not to use the resort restaurants as not at all good. Just purchase drinks as you go at the bar as very good value. Taxi and eat in Santa Maria as great range of restaurants. Villa and pool were great if not a little noisy from the kitchen staff during the day. Night time noise was no issue with fans and air con on whilst falling asleep. Drinking plenty of mojitos may have helped as well!!! No major issues with mossies. Villa was very well equipped, my only negative comments would be on the lumpy pillows and the lack of basic nice to arrive to’s such as bread etc that you get at most stays we’ve had. But that is really being picky as so well equipped. Go ahead and book with Koen, you won’t regret it :-)

Great flat very spacious with everything we needed. The little bay is a great place to swim and sunbathe. Would definitely recommend this accommodation

Beautiful villa on top of the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The location is only a few steps away from a fantastic beach that is 5+km long and often entirely empty. It's a 10 minute walk into town with shops and very good restaurants. The villa itself is spacious and well appointed. It has TWO large terraces both overlooking the ocean. The lower one is great for daytime lounging and the upper one has even better views and is a great sunset spot. We had some of the best starry sky watching of all of our travels there. The host was very accommodating and always responsive. Our local host, Lavilson, is a wonderful human being. He is a true local: born and raised on the island and a true ambassador for Maio. He was our guide for a day long island tour. We got to see Maio from an insider's point of view places and met wonderful people including his parents who were sweet and welcoming. We highly recommend him. Overall we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to do it again.

We had the most amazing stay at Iolanda and Johannes airbnb which really is an oasis of piece and quiet in the middle of mango valley! we were late for our check in but Iolanda waited for us and even made us food even though the restaurant was already closed. from the restaurant to the airbnb it is a short 10min walk uphill, which we really enjoyed. the airbnb was simple but very clean and the view from the terrasse was stunning! the food in the restaurant was amazing and there is also wifi. I definetely recommend Iolandas airbnb and I hope to come again. Thank you for everything :)

The small and inexpensive apartment is right on the beach. The location is quiet and you still feel close to the center of Santa Maria. The side terrace has a small table. We always picked up breakfast from the nearby bakery and relaxed starting the day. Rui is responsible on site. Upon arrival, the bed was too soft for us. He immediately strengthened the rust and solved the problem. Very flexible! We are more than happy to recommend the accommodation.
