Holiday rentals in Cabo Verde

This is a spectacular apartment - great location, comfortable. We rented both the interconnected properties and had a great time.

Je recommande ce logement. Très propre et une superbe vue depuis la terrasse. Je n’avais pas directement compris qu’il y avais plusieurs chambres et que la terrasse étais partagé mais jai eu de la chance qu’il n’y avais personne d’autre dans le logement, j’ai donc pu en profiter à fond. La hôte est très gentille et réactif!

Bernard and Valerie were very hopitable, kind and friendly with amazing tips about what to do in the island. When Bernard learned we liked birds, he went out of his way to take us around good spots for watching them. We were lucky to be there for Christmas and were invited to a great party in the village with their friends. When our flight was delayed they were helpful and flexible for us to find solutions. The house is quiet, comfortable and well equipped, a pleasure to cook in. Highlighted for us were the sunset views from the rooftop, riding the electric bikes to a deserted beach, really sweet dogs, resting by the pool and closeness Bernard and Valerie have to their neighbors in the village.

This was a fabulous apartment, the location is just perfect, it is a few steps to the pool and just a few more to the beach and only a few minutes to the main strip of restaurants and shops. The apartment had everything we needed and more (the beach towels were a real bonus for us). We managed to cook on a couple of evenings with no issues (only a sharper knife may have been helpful but no real problem) and the supply of things such as salt, pepper and sugar were really handy as well as the sandwich maker so we could make some quick toasties. Lizzie the cleaning lady is lovely and comes to check everything is OK with you, she even bought us some soap which we loved but couldn't find in the shops ourselves to bring home with us. Thanks again Lizzie 😊. Stijn is responsive and provided wonderful information before you arrived on various things such as recommendations of where to eat on different budgets and helpful local info. I definitely plan to return l, thank yoh Stijn 😊

We stayed for 11 nights in March and Roy couldn’t have been more helpful or more responsive. The apartment was in a perfect setting, with the sun rays beaming onto the balcony as we ate breakfast, super comfortable beds, powerful showers, and everything you need for a relaxing break. The lemon sharks were definitely worth a visit (6 Euros ppn) as they swam in between your legs, but the Pedra de Luma salt pans, apart from floating in for a few minutes, felt too commercialised. And you can actually see genuine salt pan production in the area north of Saint Marie which felt more authentic. Hiring a moped from Red scooters was easy but not for the faint hearted especially on a windy day, but we had some fun on the local quad biking sand dune circuit. Best restaurant we came across, that was slightly off the tourist mile in Saint Marie was the Santa Grehla with beautiful fresh fish and a great vibe. If you’ve not had Wahoo fish before it’s a must 😊.

Nina is an amazing host, very knowledgeable of the area & more than happy to help with anything required & arranged taxis to & from the airport for us. Great communication as she always responds to messages quickly. The apartment is really well equipped and has stunning views over the beach & sea. Having mosquito nets over the doors allowed us to leave them open so we could hear the waves all the time when inside which was gorgeous & relaxing. Nina had left a welcome pack of water, milk & snacks so we didnt need to rush out for provisions. Will definitely be back.

Schon vor der Ankunft konnte ich alle meine Fragen loswerden und habe gute Tipps für Restaurants und andere Themen bekommen. Da ich hauptsächlich zum Tauchen da war, hat sie sich sogar umgehört, wie die einzelnen Tauchbasen vor Ort bewertet werden. Vielen Dank dafür. Ligia war immer erreichbar und hat bei kleineren Problemen, für die sie nichts konnte, sich immer sofort gekümmert und im Nachgang nachgefragt, ob alles passt. Einfach Top. Für mich war das Apartment optimal, da es ruhig gelegen ist und alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Wünsche dir nur das Beste. Vielen lieben Dank für alles.

Ca Nelio is perfectly located in Sal Rei. Facing the beach and on the edge of town. Everything you could need is only a few minutes walk away. The apartment is spacious and well set out, very clean and homely. The addition of the door and window fly screens is really helpful in keeping flies and mosquitos out of the apartment. Both Julie and her co-host Melio were responsive, friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book to stay here again in the future.
