Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cairns Regional

We really enjoyed our stay with Rod and Evelyn. The area was beautiful and the garden unit of the house was quite spacious and had more rooms than we needed. Our 5 yr old boys loved jumping on the trampoline and playing in the front and back yards, as well as watching the heritage pass by several times a day. The hosts were highly responsive and accommodating to our needs, as well as being friendly and offering local tips. Would definitely book again/recommend to others.

Beautiful clean little cottage, native birds everywhere and gorgeous sunrise over the neighbouring field... I enjoyed the aircon escape from the heat but would love to be there in cooler months for the fire place. Great host, definitely recommend

We had a beautiful two days at Mary’s place. It’s an absolutely stunning location, so peaceful and serene. Mary has thought of everything to make sure your stay is relaxing and wonderful. The outdoor kitchen is excellent, and we loved the outdoor living - we spent almost all our time out there on the deck snuggled on the couch or sitting on the grass! We fed the horses and chickens, enjoyed the view, and the lovely food provided by Mary when we arrived, and the peace and quiet. Mary and Lili are wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly, but also mindful of guest privacy. We were lucky enough to have cuddles with Diesel and Molly the dogs! There’s excellent walking trails and parks around the area, and the evenings are stunning looking at the mountains and listening to the animals. The beds are super comfy and the shower is excellent. It was just what we needed to unwind and relax before heading home. We will definitely be back to Mary’s place next time we come to Cairns!

Beautiful forest surroundings. Very peaceful after a busy day out. The house was well decorated and felt very homey. I loved all the crystals trinkets displayed around the house. It told a story and stood out from the rest

Lovely cabin backing onto the rainforest and river. John was the perfect host, gave a fiendly tour around the property then we returned to the cabin with fresh hot cross buns waiting for us. They have obviously given a lot of thought into everything that we might need or want to make our stay as comfortable as possible because it was all there, and some. The area was a post card and it was so nice to come back to such a well appointed little cabin in the forest after a day of exploring the tablelands.

Amber's place is an ideal location for a stay in the city. Close to everything and a nice place to spend time after a day out. As shown and discribed, great having the space for socialising. The garden and fire pit area is perfect for spending time with friends. We would definitely use for future visits. 🙂🙂

Just amazing. The photos doesn’t do justice to how beautiful and unique this place is. Don’t think - book it!
