Monthly Rentals in Calvinia

This was the best place to spend Valentine’s weekend. The surroundings were surreal. We will be visiting again! Would recommend to anyone who wants to connect to nature. It is most definitely a little piece of heaven!

The unit is even better than the photos. Just about 2 km away from Calvinia, the farm is really an oasis in the rather dry region, halfway from Upington to Cape Town. I was invited to walk in the garden and very friendly Petro, the manager, showed me different interesting african trees and herbs. We also got some very tasting Biltong in the unit. Thanks Hermias and Petro. We will definitely come back again.

We had a lovely overnight stay. The hosts where accommodating with our late arrival time and welcomed us with snacks and an extremely clean and well stocked unit. Will definateluly stay again!

Halinka was very helpful as I booked the accomodation for my parents. They were very happy with the place and had a lovely stay. The only thing to note is that the Airbnb booking map gave the impression the place was in Calvinina and it was about 40kms out of town. for most people this is probably a bonus but it was just unexpected. So greatful for Halinkas efforts in making sure they arrived safely and we comfortable!
