Old Wine Villa

Welcome to Paradise! Come stay at our cozy Villa with a splendid Atlantic ocean view by the infinity pool! This house was first built in 1932 and since then it has been know as "Casa do Vinho Velho", "The Old Wine House". My great-grand mother used to tell stories about the old man "Vinho Velho" and his passion for his wine and agriculture. The house has been updated but we have kept old features, like an old brick oven in the kitchen and 3 stone rocks for vine hanging in the living room!

Casa do Ilhéu, located in the historic center of the city of Câmara de Lobos, offers a unique view of the bay painted by Winston Churchill. Visitors can enjoy accommodation in a quiet and central area, about 100 m from the main square of the city, where they can drink the Madeira poncha in one of the typical bars of the city. They will also be able to dive in the warm waters of the beach of the Vicar. The accommodation offers closed public parking located about 350 m away.

We prepare this house with your comfort and rest. The place is quiet with a great view of the sea and the mountains. It has a garden with some fruit trees and a porch that allows you to relax and feel the breeze, while reading a book. You can prepare meals on the barbecue or kitchen, relax and watch TV in the living room, enjoy the comfort of the bedrooms, equipped with high-quality mattresses and take a very hot and restful shower.
