Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Birken House is located above a home based bakery in the grounds of a 110-year old farmhouse, and is rumoured to be the location of an original stagecoach stop on the Douglas Trail. The suite is south facing, with tasteful decor and big folding doors opening on to an awesome view . It's rustic but contemporary; airy in summer and cosy in winter. It’s 30 minutes north of Pemberton, and is a great base from which to explore Birkenhead Provincial Park, Gates and Anderson Lakes

Cozy Eco Cabin - Off Grid - Connected to Nature

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!

This is a sweet cabin nestled among huge willows with an amazing view of the Rockies in the distance. There’s a vintage clawfoot tub and shower outside on the deck, and a new compost outhouse tucked behind at the back of the cabin, how cool is that! Inside is a comfy king bed with soft linens, antique table and chairs, microwave, french press coffee maker , toaster and a BBQ outside. There are lots of lovely shade trees and a shared fire pit area for your own picnics.
