Villa Lara is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids (cot & highchair can be provided)), and big groups. Villa Lara is set in a peaceful location ideal for walking the levadas (unmissable walks in Calheta include Paul da Serra, Rabacal (to Risco Waterall & 25 Fontes), Levada Nova and the Prazeres to Paul do Mar walk) and is close to a bus route. The property is approximately 30 minutes drive to Funchal and 45 minutes from the airport. A car is recommended so you can explore the island at your convenience. I am Nelly and I love to meet new cultures and people. In the house there are two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a balcony at your disposal. The balcony is ideal to have a meal or a drink enjoying the sea view. On the ground floor there is a dining and sitting room and a big kitchen and a garden at your disposal. In 5 min on foot you are in the beach, markets, restaurants, bus and shops. In 5 min by car you are at the Airport, 20 min from Funchal and 10 m from the north

Be adventurous , something completely different

Located in the north-western part of the island ,its an amazing location protected by conservation laws that have kept the area free of over development. With epic mountain and sea-views (the photos don't do it justice) the tents are located 450m above the coastline. If a place to relax and unwind is what you after then this would be the place to come to. There are also some amazing levada walks to explore in the area.There are three tents on the property so you might have neighbours.
