Holiday rentals with a kayak in Canton of Bern

Stephan and Ana were extraordinary hosts. Excellent and quick communication. Easy entry. Home is tidy, well appointed, views from the chalet are unmatched. Beds comfortable , water hot. Ample, open space. Fully stocked kitchen, utensils and appliances. Even a fondue pot! Washer/dryer excellent. Outdoor patio and fireplace make for special evenings outdoors. Bus station within walking distance. Safe and well lit. WiFi dependable. Very private surroundings. Sonos music system a plus! Air conditioning was excellent. We did not have a chance to use indoor fireplace- but it was lovely . The surroundings were so beautiful we never even turned the television on. For those with difficulty with stairs and inclines this would be the only drawback. There is a steep climb from the road to the door. Massi was wonderful to assist us twice, once when we had trouble connecting to the Sonos and again by giving our luggage and a ride to the bus stop. Five star visit!

We spent 4 peaceful and happy nights in this apartment with a family group of 12 members. I must say the pictures only tell half the story when it comes to the breathtaking views of the lakes overlooking from the garden. Jacqueline was very prompt and responsive with her precise and detailed communication and was always there when you needed to know something. The apartment was very spacious and felt very cozy and homely. There were plenty of amenities and we topped everything with a nice bbq on our final evening. There are plenty of things to explore both in and out Brienz while just a 10min walk to tge Brienz train station to get you around the place as well as the breathtaking boat trips from the promenade nearby. Highly highly recommend for any families or explorers alike and we will be definitely looking to be returning back!

Amazing location with winter garden and lake view

Super quick answer to questions, always an open ear for suggestions. Quiet camp of the apartment and the surrounding area. Was received with open arms and received very well. The hospitality comes from the heart and you feel right at home. Was able to make great use of my time in the apartment. There are a lot of shopping opportunities in the area and you can take care of yourself sufficiently. Can only recommend my host family to anyone and look forward to the next stay. Is a secret tip for those looking for peace and well-being and want to disconnect a little from the stress of everyday life. Switzerland is always worth a trip.

My family and I were very well received by Mr. Hannes , a wonderful and friendly person always available to help , his home very clean and welcoming with everything we need! We can enjoy the garden , a pleasant place to be ! It's very close to the lake , we love to be at Mr. Hannes's house! Thanks for your time 🥰

Super quiet and cosy place! The perfect stay for two persons. Near the lake and in the plain middle of the beautiful Gruyere region, places to visit are never far away.

Very convenient check-in, beautiful scenery all around, cozy room. Hospitable hosts! The accommodation is located in the most scenic location on Lake Brienz and highly recommend it!!
