“Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The apartment is beautifully decorated as in the pictures and extremely clean. There is also no shortage of activities (hiking, barbecuing, etc. - everything can be reached on foot within a few minutes). We will definitely not have been there for the last time;)”
Penthouse on the top roof of the villa with lake access and unique views of the Alps. Most highlights can be reached in less than 1 hr. Free parking/wifi. Layout: spacious bedroom (with entertainment system), terrace (conversion to a winter garden and living room in Dec 19), large kitchen, bathroom - all privately used. For occupancy of 3-6 people, another room can be rented in the middle floor (shared with host). Access to lake and garden. Children are possible, dogs unfortunately not.
“This is the ideal place to work "from home", practice serious social distancing and enjoy nature during lunch break (and if you don't have to work, it's probably great for hiking, aquatic sports etc.). Roli's house is a gem, not only because of the thoughtful architecture and interior design, but also because it is embedded in the most lovely scenery. The lakeside is literally 20 steps from the backdoor. - Roli is a very pleasant and respectful host, and in the midst of the COVID-19 madness, I felt perfectly safe in this solitary (yet easily accessed) place. Highly recommended!”
Alpen-Chic vom Feinsten in der wunderschönen Natur - Nichts müssen - alles dürfen. Am Fusse des Napf im Emmental ausspannen. Natur pur mit einem gewissen Luxus. Ideal für Wanderer und Geniesser. Frisches Quellwasser. W-Lan. Angenehm ruhige Lage. Moderne, und trotzdem urchige Emmentaler Dachwohnung mit offener Küche, gemütlichem Balkon, grossem Wohn- und Essbereich, grosszügiger Galerie und Schlafzimmer.
“Mike + Co's place is really something else. 1. Hygiene is our priority when it comes to selecting an accommodation. I would rate 6 out of 5 for them if I can. Their place is spotless - really, really clean. 2. We love the location for its close proximity to nature. The air is fresh, the fields are lush, the little stream beside the house is melodious. It's the perfect getaway spot from the city. 3. The unit is tastefully designed and well-furnished with cooking, cleaning, and shower necessities we need. It comes with a cozy bedroom, a nice bathroom, an open kitchen, and the most spacious and functional living space we have seen in a while. Really love how the attic is converted into a very conducive reading/working area. The house is also perfectly insulated so it was warm and comfy through our stay. 4. You can reach this place easy enough if you drive. If you don't, there seems to also be a bus service around that also goes to the nearby train station. There are many walks around, all of which are charming in their own way. Unfortunately, my wife and I came during a sensitive period with the ongoing Coronavirus and the ensuing measures to contain it. However, Mike + Co were really welcoming and understanding, going way beyond to help us during this difficult time. We'd love to stay here again (if Mike + Co will have us again, of course) the next time we visit Switzerland. Highly recommend staying here.”
